Vick is a complete worthless POS and I hope on 11/22 when the Bears face the Eagles the Bears are whipping the Eagles so much that they take McNabb out by halftime and put this worthless POS in and the Bears pound him into the Soldier Field ground like he deserves.

Ironic that he’s signing with the Eagles. Vick did this to help his friends get into business.

Vick helps his friends start dog fighting business.

The Eagles better QB McNabb actually helped several childhood friends start businesses in retail, restaurants and such. I go to one once in awhile that he helped his childhood best friend start.

Vick wasn’t even all that great to begin with. He belongs at WR or TE or RB but his pride won’t let him do it.

McNabb is a much better quarterback. IF the Eagles were smart they’d put Vick at WR or one of the backs.

And they won’t have to face the racism charges since McNabb is black.

I agree. McNabb and Vick as quarterbacks are similar in their scambling style. There is a reason Pasqualoni tried - and very nearly succeeded - in recruiting Vick: Syracuse needed a quarterback with similar skills to follow McNabb. But McNabb's role as starting quarterback is secure. The Eagles will find a position other than quarterback for Vick.

I wonder about that. The NFL seemed determined to get Vick back into the league, but most teams & team owners considered him to be 'radioactive'. Then there were a few rumors that the Pats might be considering him. The Steelers were also mentioned. The Eagles finally took the plunge.

Assuming the rumors were true, what do these teams have in common? 2 things:

1) They are all playoff teams with a pretty good shot at the Superbowl this year, and
2) Each has an established starting quarterback (so Vick probably won't play much, if at all).

If the league wanted to take him back, but wanted him 'buried', they certainly did a good job of it.
