Better get used to Air America.
If they prevail look for radio going the way of newspapers.
oh my i’m just so surprised.
They do it and I will be in the street. Go ahead ...I DARE you!

So this means everytime NPR, PBS, AirAmerica, The Diane Rehm Show,Democracy Now!,Free Speech Radio News, Counterspin,The Thom Hartmann Program, Al Sharpton, i.e. “Progressive Radio” airs something...conservative radio gets to retort. Or is it only when us Conservatives take to the airwaves...
I hope these clowns continue to over reach, because that’s the surest way to have the majority of Americans shove it back down their throat.
One other note...I bet you see alot of internet radio pop-up all over the USA if the fairness doctrine is put back into effect...
Glenn Beck talked about this guy last night. This guy wants to create a tax for all for-profit radio stations. The tax would be equal to 100% of the stations annual operating costs and payable each year. Failure to pay the tax would result is loss of their license.
Theres also a provision for a $250 million dollar fine but Beck didn’t explain what triggered this.
They won’t implement the Fairness Doctrine. What they are planning is far worse.
