MSNBC's Keith Olbermann Calls for Firing of Bill O'Reilly - Video 8/13/09

Here is video of MSNBC's Keith Olbermann tonight calling for the firing of Fox News' Bill O'Reilly over his recent attacks on General Electric and NBC.

Olbermann makes Bill O'Reilly his "Worst Person in the World" for about the 10,000th time, and actually makes himself out to be a reputable "journalist."

Whatever Olbermann is criticizing O'Reilly for, the bottom line is that Olbermann gets his arrogant rear end kicked every night by O'Reilly in the ratings, and he is enraged because O'Reilly continues to call GE and NBC on the carpet for their shameful bias in favor of Obama. . . . . (Watch Video)

Keith Olberman is the biggest four eyed geek in the world.

Tune in tomorrow where he wins the same award.

Although he is a perfect fit for PMSNBC, Olbermann should be locked up before he hurts somebody. The boy is a certifiable loon.

Yeah, I'm sure Fox is going to 'fire' Bill O'Reilly since he is kicking butt on every level by over 300% including CNN & MSNBC COMBINED!

I’d like to call for the removing of Keith Olbermann to another planet.

Does Olberman ever speak of how he was canned in L.A. because he SUCKED at reading the Sports teleprompter? I remember those days. He has no right to say that anyone should be “fired”. He’s just a desperado for SOMEONE to please watch his show. That’s how I see it. I won’t be watching anytime soon......or forever.

Just two points of analysis.

So...a guy has been nominated as the “worst person in the world” for about 1400 times (I’m guessing realistically). In fact....I’ll bet O’Reilly has made it every single month minimum. And O’Reilly has numbers that are more than double....maybe even triple what the Olbermann has? Seems like to be a success in the world....you need the Olbermann to declare you as many times as possible “worst person in the world”?

Second point....numbers for Keith Olbermann are decreasing and have been doing so for eight months. I’d like for Keith to tell us why.

Olbremann should have been fired long ago. But, to give the devil his due, if the facts he states are true - and that is a big “IF”, then O’Reilly should at least issue a public retraction. We want the truth on our side - no matter where it leads.

I’ve heard it said there is no such thing as bad publicity. Even being named the worse person in the world by an idiot like Olbermann is still publicity.

Of course, that assumes of the 20 or so people who watch Olbermann at least some are actually coherent.

BILL O’REILLY, HOST: In the “Factor Follow-up” segment tonight: A couple of weeks ago we told you that General Electric Corporation, which owns NBC, is doing business with Iran and Syria, two states that sponsor terrorism. GE CEO Jeffrey Immelt denies doing business with Iran, but we have confirmed that he does.

But GE is not alone in doing business with the bad guys. Joining us now from New Orleans, Christopher Holton, national director of the Center for Security Policy’s Divest Terror Initiative.

General Electric is the largest profit-maker of doing business with terror states, correct?

CHRISTOPHER HOLTON, NATIONAL DIRECTOR, CENTER FOR SECURITY POLICY’S DIVEST TERROR INITIATIVE: They are among the largest U.S. companies that do business in terror sponsorship.

GE is still selling goods to Iran.
2008-01-10 20:53:26.0

Some very disturbing news is reported publicly once again. A member of NBC press corps writes that NBC, owned by GE has stopped its newscasters from reporting about the very close relationship between GE and the Bin Laden family, or the fact that GE is still selling goods to Iran. A Canadian subsidiary of GE has supplied hydroelectric generators to Iran, while an Italian subsidiary has supplied pipeline and gas turbines to Iran. Even with the fact that Iran is listed by the State Department as one of seven state sponsoring terrorists. These nations included Iraq, Syria, Sudan, Libya, North Korea, and Cuba. Iraq is no longer on this list.

General Electric told the State Department, as well as the State of New York, “It is none of your business. GE is within the guidelines of the law, and will do what is best for its investors.” GE told the government to go “pound sand” in more or less terms. GE utilizes offshore subsidiaries, as well as Canadian and Mexican subsidiaries to go around the law. Yet people continue to support GE by purchasing their products and singing praises of the company.

Not very often that I agree with Olbermann.. In fact, this is probably the first time.

I despise that oft-mistaken for a conservative, Pugnacious Populist Blowhard.

Fox would indeed be foolish to take a ratings dominator off the air... But if they wanted to get ME back as a viewer during that time spot, they would replace him with Michelle Malkin.... or Ingram, Levin.... Or, just about anyone... even Krusty the Clown would be better IMHO.
