I've been on the Obama email list for months and yesterday received word that all of the activists who are currently demonstrating against Socialized Medicine are in the pay of the Insurance and Drug Companies.
What I want to know is...
Where is my check?

Sure, I know it is completely optional to buy your product, and every month when my husband and I pay our premiums for Home and Car coverage... your evil agent twists his black moustache and laughs at us blithering idiots who use his services and products.
And that evil Health Care provided by my husbands work, how dare they think they can make a profit from the ill health and ignorance of my family! I mean my son Jeff just broke his hand at work last month, and I had to wait a whole twenty minutes in the ER for the doc to show up. And that rediculous co-pay of $50.00. Come on....I could have donated it to the cause of Freedom and Liberty outlined by the Obama Death merchants who want to provide FREE coverage for everyone.
But wait....in the New York Times yesterday it was announced that the Drug Companies are completely on board with Nationalized Health Care. So much so, that they are going to launch an "August Surprise" Media Blitz so that Big Pharma companies are able to reap untold profits paid by the suckered American Taxpayer and Corporations.
"WASHINGTON — The drug industry has authorized its lobbyists to spend as much as $150 million on television commercials supporting President Obama’s health care overhaul, beginning over the August Congressional recess, people briefed on the plans said Saturday.
The unusually large scale of the industry’s commitment to the cause helps explain some of a contentious back-and-forth playing out in recent days between the odd-couple allies over a deal that the White House struck with the industry in June to secure its support. The terms of the deal were not fully disclosed. Both sides had announced that the drug industry would contribute $80 billion over 10 years to the cost of the health care overhaul without spelling out the details.
With House Democrats moving to extract more than that just as the drug makers finalized their advertising plans, the industry lobbyists pressed the Obama administration for public reassurances that it had agreed to cap the industry’s additional costs at $80 billion."
But hey, I thought Big Pharma was the victim? Demonized by the left and fighting tooth and nail to keep the money stream flowing by paying shills like me to go out to the streets and demonstrate at the local Peoples Clinic AGAINST Socialized Medicine.
Just what exactly is going on here???
Force, Control, Compulsion, Nanny State busybodies in every aspect of our lives....
The number one thing that the medical profession does is deliver babies.
Over fifty percent of all hospitalizations are for birth related cases.
So we cannot have a conversation about Socialized Medicine without addressing the reality that what is going to be collectivised is in fact Childbirth.
As a childbirth educator who has taken a long hard look at the American Medical Model of Birth for the past twenty years...what is looming with this nationalized system is a living nightmare for our daughters and grandaughters.
Now if our country was at a place of sanity where the vast majority of our healthy mothers were happily giving birth at home with midwives or alone and the ten or twenty percent who need hospitalization and the wonderful drugs and surgery that make motherhood possible for the few families who really need the care, I MIGHT be OK with the government helping those couples who cannot afford to pay medical bills (With the very clear understanding that it is far better for private charities to provide this help).
But because we are all on this freight train chugging up the mountain ninety miles an hour, with 99.6 percent of our mothers getting prenatal care, and over 1/3 of us being diced and sliced during birth as our children are cut out of our abdomens, and the other vast majority of women who birth vaginally, being cut up and drugged...
This broken birth machine is going to be Collectivised???
And then when it quickly appears that the taxpayers cannot afford for the four million mothers who give birth each year in this country to have that overpriced, overused, overextended, inefficient, and traumetizing to women and children system every year while they give birth....
Then, what we will get is rationing.
No, not rationing of the system, the infrastructure is in place, and the doctors and nurses are trained and ready to go. The NICU beds have been built, and are ready and waiting for our babes. An eighty percent c-section rate is quickly becoming reality. That 80 billion investment by the Pharma Companies will ENSURE that the status quo remains in place, and if a few midwives get locked up and a few Freebirthing mothers are arrested for having the audacity to birth at home...ALL THE BETTER!!!
What will in fact be rationed will be babies.
No, Mormon Mommy, you only get to have two children. Don't complain. The generous taxpayers of this community have provided you with state of the art medical care during your pregnancy and birth. The drug companies have provided you with drugs to alleviate your depression...I know you didn't want to take them...you wanted to breastfeed your baby, but our amazing baby formula companies have provided you with FREE milk for your child, and you and your husband need to stop being such pigs and realize that two children is all that our health system can afford. Take your Proloft Cereal every morning with your Paxil milk and hand over the kid for us to educate, medicate, feed, and propagandize...
How dare you get pregnant with a third child!!! Time for Momma to go to the sterilization clinic and get fixed. MOTHER earth cannot withstand this abomination!

I Jenny Hatch denounce myself for being a thoughtcriminal and surrender into the hands of revolutionary justice. My crimes against the Party, the State, and its compassionate leadership are as follows:
1. In a private conversation with my spousal unit I expressed doubts about the appropriateness of a one-party rule.
2. At the time of this year's inauguration I hesitated to grovel at the feet of the Supreme Leader Obama.
3. I once argued with my TV screen when a newscaster suggested that the Constitution should be amended to say that the Democrat Party is the only guiding and propelling force of the American society.
4. As all progs I believe that high taxes are good for the common good, but when I filed my own taxes, I hired an overpriced accountant and told him to get as much return from the IRS as possible.
5. As all progs I believe government run Health Care is good for the common good, but I actually helped organize a Tea Party and supported a Rally Against Government Health Care, I actually thought about the points of the opposition and whether we were getting all the facts from the White House.
6. I want to save the planet, but don't want to give up bottled water.
7. My Current Partner and I own an SUV. We suspect the government can't make good cars. But, thanks for The People's Cash if we decide to turn it in...
8. Pesons are equal except some are more equal than others. I believed I was one of the more equal even though my name is not Obama and I am not a member of Congress.
9. During one of Obama's prime time press conferences, I failed to hang on his every word but instead switched channels and watched what was on the Fox Network.
10. I once had a fleeting thought about Ann Coulter being cute and for that instant failed to be replused by her despicable hateful Neo-Nazi ideology.
11. When the insurrections first began, I told my spousal unit that Tea Party protestors tea-baggers had a right to their own opinion.
12. I briefly toyed with the idea of Intelligent Design after listening to my Christian neighbor rant that life begins at conception. (My next email to the WH will contain the culprit's name and address.)
13. No Obama bumper sticker adorns my gas guzzling politically incorrect work vehicle.
The guilt I feel overwhelmed me and so I felt it needful to denounce myself.
And for my flippant request for a check from the Peoples enemies at the Insurance and Pharma Companies....I humbly consign myself to eating beets and standing in a FEMA bread line for five hours each day...
I’m still waiting for my payments and per diem for the bush/algore election fiasco demostrations in Tallahassee, FL.
