CONGRESSMANS ATTEMPT TO SPIN SUPPORT FOR GOVERNMENT-RUN HEALTH CARE GETS HIM BARRETTED
South Carolinas wackiest member of Congress got a harsh wake-up call Thursday night at a town hall meeting in which he unsuccessfully tried to spin a plan to turn private health care into a massive, government-run, bureaucratic nightmare.
At the meeting, held in Boiling Springs, 4th District Rep. Bob Inglis desperately pleaded with his constituents to see things his way and consider President Obamas trillion-dollar proposal that would tax the uninsured, cut or destroy Medicare, and all but end private insurance.
Heres what I suggest, turn that Glenn Beck off, Inglis said to the crowd in a YouTube video of the event, referring to the FOX News Channel host who has become a staunch opponent of the health care reform plan.
Inglis was immediately and resoundingly booed by the crowd. Many simply got up and walked out.

What is with South Carolina’s “Republicans”, other than Jim DeMint ???
Hmmmm, think we hit a nerve. Time to probe a bit harder.
Here is what I suggest South Carolina, "Vote this bum out of office next election."
2010. Think about that number, Congressman.
The idiots here in SC wont even vote Linsey Grahamnesty out. I fear for my state.
The legislature from South Carolina would do well to listen HIMSELF to Glen Beck, instead of following the orders of the Kenyan.
Here’s hoping this RINO jackass signed his own political death warrant for 2010. He has no business representing Greenville.
This guy is a Republican? UFB!
Self rIghtious pompas a##es they all are! AFRAID, WHERE AFRAID? WHERE MAD AS HELL AND WE’RE NOT GONNA TAKE YOUR BULLSH## ANYMORE!!!!!! Talking down to us like children, telling us we are not capable of understanding this mess, WE’RE THE ONLY ONES WHO READ THIS BILL! WE KNOW WHATS IN IT AND WE DON’T WANT IT!
I just heard this from another SC Conservative.
Bob Inglis appeared on Hardball with Chris Matthews tonight. After insulting many of his constituents by suggesting that they are “selling fear” and engaged in “hysteria” and going on to stake what amounts to a moderate position on healthcare, Bob gets this little gift from MSNBC lib Chris Matthews:
Matthews to Inglis: “Well, I can’t vote in South Carolina, but you’ve got my vote, sir.”
Are Inglis and Graham brothers?
This account is incorrect. Inglis has stated that he opposes ObamaCare.
He’s still a RINO and needs to go, but no need to lie about his record. There’s plenty of other fodder there.
He said he opposes Obamacare but he went on to explain what he does support and it sounds an awful lot like the Romney plan.
Oooooh! I cannot wait to go to his next town hall meeting next week! He is soooo finished as a US Representative in this district. Russ Cassell will have a ball on this tomorrow morning on WORD.
He is supposed to be in Cowpens soon. I will make every attempt to be there with flag in hand.
Inglis said he'd only watched Beck a couple of times, but every time he did watch he was preaching negativism.
Hey folks, if you don't know, say you don't know.
