As of today, or very soon, there will be more Hispanics than African-Americans.
More like a *puzzle* of color.
Could care less what his ethnicity is. Does he believe in the constitution. Does he believe in freedom. Does he believe in rule of law.
Not sure if he still does, but a few years ago he was living in Austin and I would see him around town quite a bit and talked to him a few times over beer.
Executive board member arrested for theft in Iowa Statehouse
On Tuesday, March 16 2009 a contingent of SEIU members were at the Iowa statehouse lobbying legislators. They included 38-year-old Marshall Clemons of Cedar Rapids. Clemons is on the executive board of SEIU local 199. Lieutenant Mark Logsdon is head of the security detail and reported
“A lobbyist on the second floor of the capitol noticed an individual later identified as Marshall Clemons, had reached in and taken a ladies’ billfold out of a purse. He followed this individual on the first floor of the capitol and found the money on this person and the billfold had been discarded into a recycling bin. The suspect reached into the recycling bin and retrieved it.
“At that time, the lobbyist told (Clemons) he needed to leave and basically never do that again, but (Clemons) proceeded down to the bathroom on the ground floor — the men’s room — where he was cornered by one of the capitol security officers, our blue coats we call them, who called for a trooper and this individual was later discovered to have discarded another lady’s billfold in one of the toilets of the men’s rest room.”
During the Democratic National Convention, Clemons was invited to sit with then Vice Presidential nominee Joe Biden and his family. Biden and Clemons had been partners in one of SEIU’s “walk a day in my shoes” events with presidential candidates.
Clemons has been charged with two counts of fifth degree theft, a simple misdemeanor. He’s been booked into the Polk County Jail. Clemons is a custodian at a school in Cedar Rapids. Phone calls to SEIU headquaters in Cedar Rapids and Washington, D.C. have not yet been returned. [14]
Rubio is too young, inexperienced and pro-amnesty for that. No need to fall to patronizing voters when we’ll promote the first female president based on national leadership and merit!
So will Hispanics be blamed for the on going oppression of blacks when white folk are a minority?

Putting the “Hispanics” in a monolithic voting bloc is ridiculous. In South Florida you have Cubans, Venezuelans, Colombians and Nicaraguans who immigrated to pursue political and economic liberty, not to lodge themselves on the government teat as seems to be the case in too many southwestern US jurisdictions. You want to see racism? Ask a Colombian what he thinks about Mexicans or Puerto Ricans. For alot of Hispanics, Soto-Mayor was a New York Puerto Rican, not a Hispanic.

When you look at it like this it’s actually quite eye-opening. The Hispanic population in the States is bigger than the population of Spain- plus Scotland.
Identity politics based on ethnicity. The Obamunist is president today precisely because of that (I don’t think any serious mind would deny that had The Obamunist been white he never would have got past the first primary with the flimsy resume he had). He has played this in spades by nominating Sotomayor because of her ethnicity and her stated positions on applying ethnicity in the law. The Obamunist has associated with racists and has stacked his administration with racists.

i think that, unfortunately, mr. obama is messing it up so badly that it will be a miracle in any ethnic minority wins the white house for at least a century. just my thinking.
