You Sir do not speak for conservatives. I would hope that if you are any kind of conservative you will hold your venom.

There is time, the issue has been on the back burner so far. When the time is right, I am sure Palin will make her position known.

Gaining momentum, ROFLOL, what in the world are you drinking. The last I looked as many people said they would never support her as they did when she ran with McCain. I think the number was about 21%.

Look, this is the deal. The interview is legit, it created a big furor on this forum at the time and I'm pretty sure there were even audio links to the Spanish questions and her answers, because I remember hearing those too.
Now whether or not the phrase "a path to citizenship" makes your skin crawl - and it does mine, because my sense has always been that it's codespeak for amnesty - is one issue.
But to put fingers in your ears and say "Lalalala" is just plain dumb. Make whatever you want of it, but she SAID this, you people.

Great, so we get a wall and then they give 20 million illegals amnesty. Those 20 million with kids will turn into 40 million, than 80 million, and america will be gone forever and conservatism will be dead. Amnesty will solidify Far left democratic power in Washington and guarantee the ever expanding socialist welfare state.

I remember when watching this interview with Greta that I posted, I got the feeling that she was frustrated about having to talk about a comprehensive plan when the main issue, to her, was “let’s secure the borders first before we talk about doing anything else”.
Of course we all want to hear more from her about this issue, but I got the sense that she thought the first step was to secure the borders and then deal with the other issues regarding illegals.
I was pleased that the first talking point out of her mouth was about securing our borders.

Maybe she and we are better off without you!!
If all it takes is a few words quoted from who knows where, to turn you off. Then pity you. Before you judge someone so harshly, at least let them explain.

RebelYell1990 who started th is thread states on his home page the he supports Pat Buchanan and L Ron Paul.
The anti war and anti Jewish loons.
Why do some of the people on this thread go into knee jerk
reaction without finding out that this clown has an anti Srah Palin agenda.

You’ve clearly made up your mind and are doing your best to put your words into her mouth. Many of us are willing to hear her out on this issue as she emerges on her own - not as the V.P. candidate on McCain’s ticket.
Yet it’s funny how your guy, Romney, had no problem hiring illegals to mow his lawn and then lied about it when he was caught.
So far, Sarah hasn’t hired any illegals to work in her business and so far, I trust her on this issue more than I trust any of the other potential candidates - including your Mittens.

Thanks for stirring things up. These Palin groupies (many here) are nuts.

but what do you do with a guy who has lived here twenty five years?
[If hes an illegal you arrest him and deport his sorry ass.]
In Las Vegas, I expect that would be near 100,000 long time residents (neighbors, workers, friends) you guys would need to herd into cattle cars. Now, that has as much chance of happening as the Sun rising in the west and setting in the east. It will never happen.
Here’s what could happen, the border fence could be constructed, petty criminals could be immediately deported, id requirements could be enforced. The illegal problem could be resolved through attrition, and yes, even stringent pathways to citizenship rather than full amnesty for long time residents. Not a perfect solution, but doable.
I just think “cattle cars to the border” is the sort of plan thought up by people who still believe Peter Pan can fly.

Team Romney's Operation Leper continues.
Late in October, The American Spectator's The Prowler revealed:
"Former Mitt Romney presidential campaign staffers, some of whom are currently working for Sen. John McCain and Gov. Sarah Palin's bid for the White House,
have been involved in spreading anti-Palin spin to reporters, seeking to diminish her standing after the election.
'Sarah Palin is a lightweight, she won't be the first, not even the third, person people will think of when it comes to 2012,'
says one former Romney aide, now working for McCain-Palin.
'The only serious candidate ready to challenge to lead the Republican Party is Mitt Romney.
He's in charge on November 5th.'"
The Prowler added: "Some former Romney aides were behind the recent leaks to media, including CNN, that Governor Sarah Palin was a 'diva' and was going off message intentionally."
The Romney supporters in the McCain campaign had access to internal polling which indicated well in advance of the November 4 election that McCain had no chance to win.
So they began working to position their man Mitt for a run in 2012. Just two days after the election,The Palmetto Scoop reported:
"One of the first stories to hit the national airwaves was the claim of a major internal strife between close McCain aides and the folks handling his running mate Sarah Palin."
"Im told by very good sources that this was indeed the case and that a rift had developed, but it was between Palins people and the staffers brought on from the failed presidential campaign of former Gov. Mitt Romney, not McCain aides."
"The sources said nearly 80 percent of Romneys former staff was absorbed by McCain and these individuals were responsible for what amounts to a premeditated, last-minute sabotage of Palin."
These aides loyal to Romney inside the McCain campaign, said The Scoop, reportedly saw that Palin would be a serious contender for the Republican nomination in 2012 or 2016, which made her a threat to another presidential quest by Romney.
Erick Erickson, who organized Operation Leper, said:
"Heres what I think: I think there are some staffers on the McCain campaign who seriously screwed up the roll out of Sarah Palin, to which Governor Palin herself objected.
These staffers are now out trying to finish her off thinking, as typical D.C. types do, that if they dont do it to her, shell do it to them. They just never understood who Palin is or what she is about."
"Likewise, I do think there are some staffers and others who expect Mitt Romney to run again in 2012,
they decided McCain could not win, and decided to undermine Sarah Palin and her chances hoping it would ingratiate themselves with Mitt Romney."
"Who's the Palin Leaker from the McCain Campaign? (Mark Wallace, Romney pimp)
National Review Online The publication of a Vanity Fair profile of Sarah Palin
appears to have opened old wounds in the McCain campaign.
... the source of the Diva leak was Nicolle Wallaces husband."

Poor sport spoiler Romney doing what he does best:
Novak: "Fred Thompson drop-out rumors traced to Romney campaign"
Said Novak: "The rumors were traced in part to Mitt Romney's campaign,
trying to stir up strife between McCain and Thompson."
"Despite outspending his rivals by huge margins throughout the primaries,
(Mitt Romney, Carpetbagger UT,CA,MA,NH,Mexico) lost Iowa, South Carolina, Florida and California.
The only primaries he won were in Michigan, where Dad was governor; LDS states;
and a few states on Super Tuesday in which his California-obsessed rivals
couldn't spare the cash to advertise.
Only John Connolly in 1968 had a worse cash-to-delegates ratio.
And John McCain rightly did not like Romney's tactics during the primaries.
(W)hen (Romney's early leads) started slipping away, he resorted to unfair,
distorted, scorched-earth negative ads, betting that his opponents couldn't
afford to spend enough for the truth to catch up to his charges."

Well, I won’t go as far to call them all nuts, but the fact is I broke the matrix for them, and they are refusing to believe the truth. I still have hope that they will come around. Any true Conservative would. But I feel as though I have gotten a good response from principled conservatives.
