John Ziegler is a a former talk show host on the legendary KFI radio (AM 640) in Los Angeles, So Cal's main broadcaster of Rush and Dr. Laura.

In my opinion, Ziegler is in the same league as Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin. He is very skilled in the arena of being a talk show host, and is original and authentic and meets my admittedly finicky standards for genuine conservatism. (Another host to watch for in this department, if he ever gets another radio show, is Larry Elder -- I'd add him to that short list if he had a show -- he was fired from KABC in L.A. shortly after Ziegler was fired from KFI, whose other mainstay local hosts, Bill Handel and John & Ken, are faux conservatives at best. Peasing their listeners seems their primary motivation; grasping, teaching, and promoting conservative principle in action flies over their heads).

Hannity, Ingraham, Hewitt, Savage, Medved, Dennis Miller ... I gave them all more than many chances as a listener; they have so often disappointed me in their weak grasp of what I consider real conservatism that I only listen to them as a last resort, though Dennis Miller is a bit of a different animal and I'll continue to give him a lot of slack.

Rush, in the nearly 20 years I've been listening to him, has rung true every time -- I've never heard take a position that was, to me, contrary to conservatism, and the same goes for Levin -- and Ziegler. All three ring true every time.
