Rule 5: "Ridicule is man's most potent weapon." There is no defense. It's irrational. It's hard to counterattack ridicule, and it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage. It works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions.

Meanwhile for fifty years the modern conservative movement has been screamed at ("Racist!" "Bigot!"), ridiculed, pressured, forced into concessions, infuriated, and had no guts to counterattack -- until now.
For the entire second half of the 20th Century the modern conservative movement was the subject of "Rule 5" and more.
Well "Rule 5" don't make no mind no more.
It's the Left that has just recently been on the receiving end of Rule 5 -- and they are rattled and don't like it one bit.
Has any member of the MSM ever asked Obama about his connections to Saul Alinsky’s organization? Has the MSM ever reported on his “community organizing” under Alinsky’s groups? Has Obama ever spoken of Alinsky publicly?
