Liberal fascists in the White House? NashuaDan first victim.

Paging Jonah Goldberg! If this developing story did not smack of some twisted Orwellian nightmare then I might chuckle, but instead I am left wondering if this is the start of something bigger. In any event, I am not sure if there has been a precedent of this nature and I am holding the White House responsible. Unless of course if Secret Service calling up individuals because of what they post on the Internet is normal, then perhaps I am just over reacting.

It all began several days ago, when I wrote about the 'disinformation' collection request issued by the White House to keep track of rumors and lies regarding the health care reform discussion. Beyond seeming illegal, the idea that our government issues statements encouraging citizens to spy on each other should be an anathema to any American. My family left Soviet Russia for the very same reason, nobody could be trusted and every 6th person was a possible KGB informant. I understand that liberals reading this will object to analogies of such magnitude, but as F.A. Hayek wrote in his excellent piece 'Road to Serfdom', liberals seldom realize when their freedoms vaporize and totalitarianism sets in. Policies and rules that are created stemming out of benevolent desires, as many liberal policies are, can sometimes carry dangerous side-effects. Yet ironically, when conservatives and libertarians object to government run health care and speak out, liberals call us Nazis. So once again, the people who want government run health care and spying on our own fellow citizens, are calling us Nazis? I feel like I am in the twilight zone.

Todays political left is indeed neo nazi fascists who will stand for the evil they did against their fellow man and be judged for their sin by Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.

The states need to dismantle the powers of the Federal government before its too late. Abolish executive and legislative authority at the Federal level and return all political power to the several states. If anything, the federal mechanism should be bureaucratic and controlled by a congress of elected state governors.

I think that is a fantstic idea, but before we do that - people have to get pretty scared and angry. So far the complacency is still overwhelming, how Obama is enjoying the approval rating in the high 50s is beyond me.

This is not a grass roots action. It needs to start in the state legislatures. Governors and legislatures are the only things with enough political power to actually shut down the Federal nightmare. Grass roots actions at the STATE level are warranted to get the ball rolling...

“I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration somehow you’re not patriotic. We should stand up and say we are Americans and we have a right to debate and disagree with any administration.”
