Don’t want to miss this one! For those of us who write about the administrations machinations, be it in blog or other media, let us not forget the play book of the democrat party and especially barack obama and david axelgreasy. In the next couple of weeks, I suspect SEIU and ACORN hired muggery will be bussed into the townhall forums to create as much chaos as the axelgreasy astroturfing amchine can use. We must point it out when it happens and call it what it is, M A R X I S M on parade in America, via the DNC, aimed at sweeping away the Old Republic beofre American wake up and revolt.

“What follows is for those who want to change the world from what it is to what they believe it should be. ‘The Prince’ was written by Machiavelli for the Haves on how to hold power. ‘Rules for Radicals’ is written for the Have-Nots on how to take it away.”
It is unrestricted class warfare, pure and simple. And it is the bible of Obama, Clinton, and many MANY others in this country.
What edition do you have that has Lucifer in the dedication?

Psychologists call it projection. The current condemnation by the Democrats of the true grassroots protests that we are seeing against Obamacare is one of the best examples of projection you could ever have.

Ugh. Timely question. I just finished reading that slimy piece of crap less than five minutes ago.
I have never worked harder at forcing myself to read a book. Never.
The version I got from the library is vintage books edition 1989. Interesting. Until you asked that question, I just assumed it was an older copy. Then, as I paid attention, there is a bar code on the back of the jacket.
So, they apparently felt it was fine to put the dedication to Lucifer back in this version.

If you have never read it, here is the dedication:
"Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history (and who is to know where mythology leaves off and history begins or which is which), the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom Lucifer"
I read this to my brother, who is pretty religious, and he looked at me with bewilderment and said "And someone thinks that is a great kingdom to win?"
The book is pretty hideous. I don't think I have ever felt so soiled just reading something before.

Here's an anecdote.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Here is the story on that, in case you misunderstood.
The original printings of the book had the dedication to Lucifer in it, but Alinsky had it removed in subsequent printings because he didn’t want to frighten off or alienate the churches, who he had complete contempt for, but liked using them as tools.
He needed the clergy, and thought the dedication would be an impediment to that end so he had it removed. It wasn’t due to pressure by the government or anything like that.
