‘Hope and Change’
Yep. No better time than now to add a few trillion dollars to our debt.

Half the country is depressed already.

I took the CNN poll and they are lying about the results. In no state did he have a crade better than a C-.

I have to disagree with the Doomers.
There is more credit unwinding to go, but there also is a lot being paid back, and fast.

I would love to see geographic and demographic profiles of the citizen sample they used.
CNN did this all by itself....? Sure, I trust Ted Turner implicitly. [/sarc]

Click on "cdn.turner.com" at the top of the link and you go to the full Adobe report.
First line: "This was a sample of 1136 Americans with an oversampeling of African-Americans". [approx wording]
The body of the report gives no other demographics. Relying on this poll as a sample of America would be like relying on Joe Biden to make sense.

Likely, What would you call a shedding of millions of jobs at the rate of 400-500k a month. The official unemployment rate is 9.7% heading for 10%, the real unemployment rate is 16% or greater. When you factor in the underemployed more than 1 in 5, 20% or more, of working Americans are unemployed / underemployed. The government tax revenues are off by 18% the business tax revenues are down by 57%.
These are all DEPRESSION ERA NUMBERS. Meanwhile the idiot in chief tries to cram the largest tax increase , Crap n Tax, Universal Health care, and possibly another ‘Recovery” plan.
If this isn't a depression because of severity, the length will make it so in a few more months
