When speaking in their official capacity, legislators can say virtually anything without fear of civil liability. Just ask John Murtha. And, Pelosi really doesn't have the authority to enforce any kind of action against these protesters - wrong branch of government. As despicable as her words and words are, for the most part, they're just words.
Obama, on the other hand, with his compiling of people's names and their "fishy" comments could could be seen as a threat of intimidation, a vehicle to stifle political debate. He probably doesn't get all the way there, but he comes far to close for The President of the United States. I personally believe that this action is unprecedented in American history. As bad, possibly worse than Nixon's enemy list. And, we all know how that turned out.

I’ts kinda scary she is third inline to be president though. Obama is so used to Chicago politics I’m sure this seems normal to him.

As in "the Cambridge Police acted....stupidly"?
So let's examine the groups he's disparaged publicly so far. The Republicans, Law Enforcement officers and now Citizens.
Gives new meaning to the 'Bully' Pulpit, doesn't it?

Do you think if they weren’t immune that they would look at tort reform differently ? Also the Dems receive 95% of the trial lawyers contributions.
