Yesterday, James McGovern, Representing the Massachusetts 3rd District and Richard Neal, (Hampden 2nd) attempted to sell the administrations health care program to individuals attending a town hall meeting at the University of Massachusetts campus in Worcester it did not go well. The Worcester Telegram and Gazettesarticle (here) , describes a packed town hall meeting where Neal and McGovern were met by a hostile crowd.
Town hall meetings are being held across the nation in a last-ditch attempt to sell the government run health care program, and one would expect, that those held in a blue state such as Massachusetts would be an easier sell. What one has to understand is that Massachusetts already has a health care system in place, similar to the one proposed by the Obama administration. That system has run consistently over budget, and has almost bankrupted the state This program and the beleaguered turnpike authority caused a significant (25%) rise in taxes and fees that went into effect August 1st. Massachusetts residents have seen the future and they arent buying.

Olver is my rep. We hav e been out at his house once, we’re going back.
Post a video of the meeting on YouTube anyway.
X minutes of static or blackout and let it be know that that’s what your public servants allowed to be recorded of the meeting.
What is telling here is the level of propaganda that zero and his minions are engaging in to sell us something we don’t want.
Despite massive rejection of the DeathCare plan, Chuckie “You Can’t Tell Me What To Do” Schumer says that they will go ahead and cram this bill down our throats. The WH has characterized the attendees at these meetings as being organized by Republicans (if only the Republicans were that organized!).
IMO, we are seeing the beginnings of a real revolt by the people against the government. The Tea Parties were the first indicator, followed by the reports of disruptive townhall meetings across the country. If Chuckie Schumer follows through and forces DeathCare through the Senate, I believe that we will see significant incidents of civil disobediance and protest that could well lead to open revolt.
“This is absolutely ridiculous - a public meeting should be recorded.”
Click the link on this thread to the telegraph. In the first picture it clearly shows a woman recording the meeting. If there is any shouting hopefully it will be posted
Interesting. Neither the blog nor the article mentions anything about cameras or video. Yet, a different post http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2308562/posts is very insistent on the invocation of the “no camera” rule at that meeting.
The lady in the sixth row indicates not so.
There might even be another camera at the top of the stairs just between the man in black and the lady in grey.
I love sentences like this.
"Last Ditch Attempt"? They're desperate.
