Tea Party people and Town Hall leaders should have handouts of stories like this and from Australia where they too have given up the Climate Change science. It is improtant to have facts not opinions at these town hall events. Then ask the congress person or their spokeman how can they vote on Cap and Trade given this data???

This latest development comes on the heels of a series of inconvenient developments for the promoters of man-made global warming fears, including new peer-reviewed studies, real world data, a growing chorus of scientists dissenting (including more UN IPCC scientists), open revolts in scientific societies and the Earth's failure to warm.

The reason a green house becomes warm is because of the physical barrier of the glass. CO2 in the atmosphere is not a physical barrier.

Correct.

The glass keeps thermal gas motion from moving outside the boundary, thus increasing warming by holding energy inside.

I would guess that without the glass barrier, gasses warmed are free to move and take temperature energy to areas of lower temperature, eventually moving to areas of the atmosphere where radiation can more readily emit back into space.
