This idea that Americans are ridiculously overweight is being put out by the MSM to justify the gov't taking control of health care. After all, as we all know, fat people are stupid people who need the federal gov't to take care of them.

Looking at the statistics that the CDC uses to support its contention that Americans are becoming fatter and fatter every year, you will see that those statistics are based on the BMI - which is 200 years old and which, in any event, doesn't measure how fat one is.
