Self Reliant/Survivalist Ping List
The mormons have a very comprehensive survival list.

Come to think of it, the only thing that the LDS left off their list are booze, guns, and cigars.
Quite the resource, although I think the book would be easier to look through.
Say, what’s that little stove that uses those pellets for fuel?
I was going to bookmark the page but don’t remember doing it.
I have been to this blog tons of times, I sure would like to know where in his blog he published all those lists. Don’t suppose you know?
Where are his “lists” found on the web site?
Thanks.

Thenk you very much.
Everyone please keep Jim Rawles and family in your prayers. His wife is suffering from a terminal illness, according to a post she made on the site last week.
Oh no, that's just terrible; is she perhaps doing any better nowadays, have a different prognosis?
Linda Rawles passed away in November, I believe.
The only criticism I have about Survival Blog, is that their entire premise is to encourage people to GOOD at the first sign of trouble and head out into the woods to play urban commando.
For many of us, bugging out and abandoning a secure shelter with more than adequate supplies makes no sense at all. I’m sure many people wish they had had the foresight a decade ago to start devoting my every spare moment toward building a hideaway and stocking it with enough guns, ammo and MRE’s to support their own private militia. Unfortunately that is not an option for the majority of us, and many of us are prepared to stick it out and defend what we have.
That said, Survival Blog and others are absolutely invaluable resources for Preppers and private militia wanna-bes alike. They have given our small group here a number of fairly simple preparations to make just in case TEOTWAWKI finally arrives. But they are just a piece of the large puzzle that one has to work out in order to survive anything.
the rawles supported a school somewhere in Africa. When she passed, he asked well-wishers to make a donation to that school in her name and they did..I think it was over ten grand or so.
