John Hawkins, of Pajamas Media, Townhall and blogger of Conservative Grapevine and Right Wing News wrote a piece about the idiots on the left and right attacking Sarah Palin: Why Sarah Palin Fans Feel Betrayed. He describes the double standard the political and media world has with liberals verse conservatives. But he also gives a warning to critics on the right as they are assisting the liberal media tear down the biggest star:
Then along came Sarah Palin, whom most conservatives viewed as the lone bright spot of the 2008 campaign. Here’s a woman that many conservatives identify with not only because they believe she really shares their values, but because she is genuinely what so many other politicians pretend to be. Sarah has now initiated her brilliant flanking manuever against the left, the DNC, the MSM and the RINOs that has them all in a frenzy wondering what her next move will be and how it will be perceived...and has them frothing at the mouth in their efforts to discredit her.
Sarah will now get her book out, go on tour, give speeches and promote conservatie principles all over this country in the midst of the Obama administration disaster and gain great political capital in the process. Then she will support conservative candidates in 2010 and help them win, amassing much more political capital. She will then take all of that and make an awesome, stunning run for the Presidency in 2012.

Frank Luntz gave her high marks for that speech ....an A- I think.
I wish this was not true, and I plan to keep my eyes open to find another good option. Palin is a great leader, a great candidate, and a good person, and I would love to vote for her. What I would love even more is to discover that the GOP isn't as anemic and lacking in leadership as the Democrats. As happy as I would be voting for President Sarah Palin to restore the America a free people deserve, I'd be even happier watching her run against other good candidates ... if we could find more great candidates, that is.

None of the other so called Republicans are worth even a second glance...and I won’t hold my breath until somebody really stellar crawls out of the woodwork!

I think I’ll go ahead & bump this thread because Sarah is in the lead for 2012 and she’s as good as I can expect. I’d rather see Duncan Hunter with her kind of star power, but she went supernova and DH didn’t. DH has been deep in the crud of combat, so he knows how fickle fate can be.
