What a lousy hazy day to take photo op pictures of the plane.

The plane banking pictures over the city at the end of the segment would have put me in a tailspin too if I was in NYC at the time.

I think the real story is who was on the plane. I wouldn’t be surprised if some Saudi prince or Palestinian official was on Air Force One.

I don’t know who was on the plane, but you are right - that could be the real story. As far as I know, that has never really been revealed.

The NYC flight seems to be totally pointless unless there is something we don’t know about it. Photos are crappy, and what was the purpose, anyone know?

The purpose was to update the Air Force One website photos - at a taxpayer cost of over $300,000. It amazes me how many people in this country of ours easily forget how 911 traumatized millions. The lack of forethought of public reaction is pathetic.
