This is excellent news.
I hope there’s enough of a surge in Virginia so that the GOP can increase their numbers in the House of Delegates. The last two elections haven’t been kind to the GOP’s once-strong hold on the Legislature.
On a side note, I wonder if the national media will report a strong GOP win in Virginia as a sign of a resurgent GOP - owr whether they’ll under-report the significance of it.
I suspect the latter.

The lame-stream-media will label Virginia racist and redneck...for turning its back on socialism — ooooppps, I mean change.
MSM pundits will say two things:

“Just a blip on the radar. Obama will lock this state up in 2012.”
