A comment on rupubx website:

A state does not have the authority to amend the constitution or rewrite immigration laws. They are really getting desperate to silence the birthers, aren’t they.
They are running out of places to run and hide this issue.
Let’s keep the pressure up. They are really beginning to squirm!!
Be sure to write CNN and stick up for Lou Dobbs. I don’t care for him much, but we can not allow the left to have him terminated.
Here are some e-mail addresses...

Jim.Walton@turner.com (president of CNN Worldwide)

Susan.Grant@turner.com (executive vice president of CNN News Services)

Jon.Klein@turner.com (president of CNN/US)

Rena.Golden@turner.com (senior vice president and executive producer of CNN.com)

David.Payne@turner.com (senior vice president and general manager of CNN.com)

Mitch.Gelman@turner.com (senior vice president and senior executive producer of CNN.com)

We must use the same tactics as the forgers, just be sure to be respectful.
It is time for us to be heard...

When the Obama NBC question was brought up in the US House of Representatives, there was no objection among Republican Members.

So, it would follow that the Hawaii Legislature would follow the lead of the House Republicans and affirm their decision that Obama is a NBC.

Good God. There must be something to this. Imagine...just imagine what is going to happen if/when it is revealed he is foreign born. There is no reason for the state to do this if there is a birth certificate.

Democrats franitically trying to circumvent the constitution on the eve of some intelligence agency threatening to "out" Obama for failing to follow orders. This is serious stuff. Obama is compromised and foreign governments have the goods on him. Expect a leak...

If this was a non-issue, it would be relegated to the National Enquirer and nobody would be passing any meaningless resolutions in a frantic attempt to give him cover...

Between Senate Resolution 511 and this House vote, I don't like what I sense might be looming. I contend that it would be unconstitutional to amend the NBC requirement via judicial means, with Marbury v. Madison as the basis for the contention. Congress is also limited constitutionally, to matters of immigration and naturalization, neither of which can be brought directly to bear upon the NBC status of any living citizen, or alien, as the case may be. Only descendants can acquire NBC status as a result of an act of Congress.

This may seem strange to us today, but at the Founding, citzenship was a matter for the States, believe it or not.

The Federal Government simply recognized each State’s standard - and there were differences - and there was reciprocity among the States.

Obviously over the past two centuries, the Federal Government has usurped a multitude of preogatives and obligations that used to belong to the several States, and this is one of them. I suppose that most of us would not object to the imposition of a common standard of citizenship acroos the nation, but this is not the way it always was. I suppose that in the absence of any explicit Constitutional provision brinbing this responsibility into the Federal orbit, a State could reassert it’s right to determine citizenship.

This move on the part of Hawaii, which may seem to many of us calling a chair an ashtray by legislative edict, may not be as outre as it would seem at first glance.

By the way, I do not approve of this act by the Hawaii legislature. I only point out that the history of this issue is not as cleanly on the Federal side as one may think.

Yeah, it was completely ridiculous. Reality was altered by vote... morons.

Democrats and RINOs have made this country worse than some 3rd world countries and far more embarrassing. They might as well be reading chicken bones now to determine the direction of the country.

I wipe my ass with this 'resolution' by the State Senate of Hawaii!

The United States Constitution remains the highest Law of the Land, and IT supercedes anything the Hawaii 0bamunists attempt to enact, resolves or proclaim retroactively in behalf of the Dear Comrade.

These libs are absolutely terrified.

They have to know the truth about Obama's foreign origins.

They set the precedent a little over a year ago when they did the same thing for McCain regarding the original birthers, Dems who questioned his NBC status because of his Canal Zone birth.

The short answer is they can’t. It was a non-binding resolution. They however would dictate truth itself through legislation if they could.

If stories are true about the shrine at Obama’s birth place in Kenya then they better do something or lose tourist dollars. Kenya is being called out so now is the time for them to fish or cut bait.

You heard it right, on Monday, the Hawaii House of Representives voted to declare Obama a "Natural Born Citizen". Instead of producing the birth certificate, their vote is supposed to somehow make this official.

*******

1. And what public proof did they present to back up such a claim?

3. And does the U.S. Supreme Court know that Hawaii is going around acting like the Supreme Court by the way Hawaii has declared a person, Obama, to be a "Natural Born Citizen"?

Its called CYA and try to “Make it all go away!”

Its sad, nothing is going to alleviate the issue until the Documents are released or Obama resigns.
