Back in October 2008, after the dreaded Constitutionalists began closing in on Obama's fraudulent Certification of Live Birth (COLB), out popped the Head of Hawaii's Dept of Health, Dr. Chiyome Fukino, a middle aged, balding, sturdy woman, to provide the first of two statements she would make in an attempt to tamp down the controversy.
"There have been numerous requests for Sen. Barack Hussein Obamas official birth certificate. State law (Hawaii Revised Statutes §338-18) prohibits the release of a certified birth certificate to persons who do not have a tangible interest in the vital record"
"Therefore, I as Director of Health for the State of Hawaii, along with the Registrar of Vital Statistics who has statutory authority to oversee and maintain these type of vital records, have personally seen and verified that the Hawaii State Department of Health has Sen. Obamas original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures."
But the controversy was NOT that Obama did not have an original birth certificate. The controversy was that he had not RELEASED it. The Constitutionalists and AfterBirthers both understood that the COLB scan Obama allegedly sent to leftwing organs FactCheck and DailyKos was at best a modern, computer generated summation document with limited info culled from a State database. Constitutionalists claimed it to a fraud, while AfterBirthers claimed it reflected reality.
Fukino's lawyer-produced statement gives the impression of legitimizing Obama's COLB, but it did not. She did not mention it, she did not verify its contents, but she did confirm they had the "original birth certificate" on file. Yet her non-statement had the AfterBirthers crowing, but the Constitutionalists knew they were being handed a line of nothingness, and continued to plow on.
Fast forward to late July of 2009. The Constitutionalists continued to hammer away, the AfterBirther leftie blogosphere continued to argue that "Obama already released his 'birth certificate", and the State Run Media (SRM) was content to ignore the situation altogether. They ignored it, because it made no sense to draw attention to the fact the lawsuits demanding Obama show his BC were continuing; and Obama was spending a kings ransom on high buck lawyers from Perkins Coie to suppress the release of his BC.
But 6 things happened that forced the SRM to get back into the game.
1) Rush Limbaugh was making more frequent jokes and statements regarding Obama not having produced a BC
2) One of Orly Taitz' lawsuits was given life by a federal judge.
3) The Constitutionalists were kicking the AfterBirthers butts in the blogosphere.
4) Lou Dobbs of CNN demanded Obama release the BC.
5) A case of a US soldier demanding Obama cough up his BC before he would deploy made the news.
6) A woman was taped at republican Mike Castles town hall meeting browbeating the hapless RINO. And the audience cheered her on. The tape went viral on Youtube
So suddenly one morning last week, America woke up to find a barrage of SRM articles condemning the "crazy", "nutty" Constitutionalists (who they call birthers) and proclaiming that the issue had been "settled" last year. They all used the same talking points, lifted right out of Media Matters or FactCheck. And every major SRM outlet particpated. It's almost as if Obama's marxist henchman David Axelrod had started another Astroturf project. But the Constitutionalists fought back, and exposed the gaping holes in the SRM's narrative. In the meantime, more republican house members were signing up as sponsors for a bill to make future presidential candidates cough up their BCs in order to make the ballot.
So in steps Dr. Fukino, once more. Another carefully crafted lawyer written statement was released on July 27, 2009. It reads:
"I, Dr. Chiyome Fukino, director of the Hawaii State Department of Health, have seen the original vital records maintained on file by the Hawaii State Department of Health verifying Barack Hussein Obama was born in Hawaii and is a natural-born American citizen. I have nothing further to add to this statement or my original statement issued in October 2008 over eight months ago.
Once again, to the casual observer, this looks like a definitive statement that puts Obama in the free and clear. But note the lack of the words "birth certificate". Instead she uses the term vital records. Well, the darn COLB was a summation of vital records. Any family request to change Obama's birth from foreign or non-Hawaiian to Hawaiian would be part of the vital records. Any request to have Obama legally adopted would be part of the vital records. She also does not state that Obama IS Hawaiian born, she says the vital records she looked at say so, which could have been changed to reflect a request from the family, given the right circumstances. And I'll guarantee you that the vital records did not say he is a "natural born citizen", as Miss Fukino states. Miss Fukino is a medical doctor, and not a constitutional or immigration law scholar, and it is highly suspect that she would in include this in her statement. The smart money says an Obama lawyer helped her craft this slippery blurb.
It still stands that no HI gov't official, Miss Fukino included, has ever:
1) Verified that the COLB Obama presented via FactCheck and DailyKos is a valid document.
2) Verified that the information on the COLB is accurate.
3) Verified what information is on the original vault birth certificate.
4) Verified what, if any, changes were requested and accepted to Obama's vital records.
5) Verified who Obama's mother and father are.
6) Verified what hospital Obama was born in.
7) Verified who the attending doctor was for Obama's Birth.
So the beat goes on. Also, one has to wonder, since it is specifically against the law for an official to release information regarding Obama's birth certificate except to a legal family member, how this 2nd statement came about. It could very well be, she did not release any information from Obama's birth certificate at all.
Consider this little "nope, we can't do it" email from Dr. Fukino's spokesbabe Janice Okubo in response to a questions from the blogger that runs 24Ahead (I'm including his questions for clarity):
Here are the questions I sent them:
1. Did that statement (or any other official statement from the state government) confirm that Obama was born in Hawaii , as some have assumed?
2. Did that statement (or any other official statement from the state government) confirm that the certificate you have on file matches the one on Obama's website?
3. Is it illegal under Hawaii state law to confirm where Obama was born, or to confirm that the certificate you have on file matches the one on Obama's website?
And, here's the non-reply reply:
Dr. Fukino has said that her statement stands on its own, and she does not feel there is any need for further comment.
Hawaii State law protects the birth records of all individuals born in our state under all circumstances. State law prohibits the Department of Health from disclosing any information about a Hawaii vital record unless the requestor has a direct and tangible interest in the record. This includes verification of vital records and all the information contained in a record. Direct and tangible interest is determined by HRS §338-18(b).

The plot only thickens my friends. We will get to the bottom of this fraudulence one way or another.
Ping a ling
Keep up the pressure...the nations future depends on it!
Ping pong
Well done .. PING!
Also, this is a direct link to Hawaii.gov concerning handling legalities of vital records.
§338-18 Disclosure of records -Hawaii.gov
(a) To protect the integrity of vital statistics records, to ensure their proper use, and to ensure the efficient and proper administration of the vital statistics system, it shall be unlawful for any person to permit inspection of, or to disclose information contained in vital statistics records, or to copy or issue a copy of all or part of any such record, except as authorized by this part or by rules adopted by the department of health.
See’s a medical person, not a Lawyer!
Could her reference to “Natural Born” be meant to exclude a “Caesarean Section” delivery?????
Always been, actually.
Hawaii Lie Echo?
lol!
I love it. Sounds like a South Park episode.
Remember, she declared him to be an "American Natural Born Citizen".
She then reiterated the fact that she was not a lawyer, and did not have a "legal background".
If that doesn't constitute the biggest non- sequitur ever, I do not know what does.
Did you know? Obama’s half sister, born in Indonesia, has a Hawaiian Certification of Live Birth
The Philadelphia Examiner
July 27, 12:08 AM
Maya Soetoro was born to Indonesian businessman Lolo Soetoro and American cultural anthropologist Ann Dunham and half-sister to the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama. While living in Indonesia, she was home-schooled by her mother and then attended Jakarta International School and returned to Hawaii and attended the private Punahou School in Honolulu, Hawaii, graduating in 1988.
Besides being the First Sister Maya has a Hawaiian Certification of Live Birth despite being born in Jakarta Indonesia. Supposedly this certificate was used by the Daily Kos to forge an Obama version. Anyone find it odd that Maya, undisputedly born in Indonesia, would have the same type of document as Barack Obama to forge?
On another point, I would like to see someone sue in California on the basis of the precedent set by the California judge in the Jack Ryan custody records case where he ruled that the release of those records was a matter of public interest. I don't think this is part of the Keyes suit but could be wrong.
ROFLMAO
when some one calls you a birther correct them and tell them you are a constitionalist and ask them if they are an afterbirther!!!!
Oh. I guess my racist white teachers were wrong about it being Hawaii, then.
Anyway, looks like a nice place for an apostrophe. Cool, isn't it, since we're all so used to extraneous apostrophes, this fad of muslimizing w'ords gives us a reason t'o.
Good summation!
It's not muslimizing. The apostrophe represents a glottal stop to aid in pronunciation and natives of Hawai'i use it quite frequently as do many other languages in transliteration. That doesn't mean "Hawaii" is less acceptable.
