Good one!
Uno on X-box, now that has me in stitches.
I’m with your MIL and wife. Johnsonville is an “If there’s no other” choice for me. Fortunately, we have a great butcher nearby in Creston. They make their own bratwurst. MMMMMmmmmm. I still recall the Spaetzle at the hotel. Delicious with a pork chop...
New Glarus is about a 2 hr drive or less for us. We head West to Polo, then North on 26 which becomes 69 in Wisconsin. It’s a straight shot North.
Yeah but Rockport is not a “scenic” drive.
There is an old movie, probably came out in early 90s, called “The Ref,” which is where I first saw Dennis Leary. It is about a nearly-divorcing couple (Kevin Spacey, then not well known) plays the husband and Dennis Leary is a thief who ends up taking the couple and their extended family hostage. I freely admit to fairly low-brow taste in movies (what can I say, “Major League” is another favorite) but “The Ref” is extremely funny.
Huh? What does Rockport have to do with New Glarus?
He spends trillions of dollars, just because he can. He wants health care reform, to save his presidency. He gives monthly primetime press conferences even though he has nothing interesting to say. He knows the answers before the questions are asked, because the questions have been prescreened. He is the most narcissistic man in the world.
The Undersecretary Under the Bar...
Sorry. Meant Freeport.
Oh, well, yeah, Freeport’s not very scenic. Neither is Monroe for that matter. But it’s a direct route and the fastest, even with all the small towns.
