Something strange is happening in America. For the first time, a white man is standing up to a black mans charge of racism. And he is being supported by his employer. In another first, the media coverage of this event is not employing the time worn premise that only whites can be racist.
This incident may have gone the way of millions of others but for the fact that this professor was a friend of President Obama. Luckily for Henry Gates, the most powerful man in the world took time out [...].
The President then announced publicly that the Cambridge police Department acted stupidly, even while acknowledging that he wasnt familiar with all the details.
What makes this incident unique is the fact that the automatic assumption of racism on the part of the white policeman is actually being questioned. [...]

I can honestly say that I have never had the slightest smidgen of white guilt in my being.
Most whites have no more reason to feel guilty about the plight of long-dead slaves, than modern-day blacks have have to feel sorry for themselves over it. Don’t forget, American blacks are WAY better off than if they had been left alone in Africa!

Four of mine wore the Gray and a couple of them were slaveowners. And I don’t feel the slightest “White Guilt”.
Nor should you or anyone else feel any guilt over the current africanhyphenamerican condition. None of us alive today ever owned a slave, none of us alive today who are natural born American Citizens has ever been a slave.....with the exception of those who slavishly subscribe to the Democrat Playbook down on the Liberal Plantation.
