Yah, ''abrasive'' isn't the first adjective to come to mind when it comes to Bagshot Babs.
'Coprolitic' would do nicely as a description, as would 'incompetent'.
Possibly the definitive one in her case, though, would be 'anencephalic'.

Agreed. And if you watch video of the confrontation you can see her close her eyes at one point. That is a classic signal that she thinks the whole issue is beneath her and she wants it (and Alford) to go away!
