The lapdog media in what can kindly be described as a docile press conference on healthcare lobbed Obama a race charged question giving him, yet again, another opportunity to whip the American people with the racism charge and demonize law enforcement as racist. He grabbed the opportunity on national television, in yet another seizure of the airwaves, to divide and create discord. Mind you this is Obama's fourth prime time press event in almost as many months - more than Bush had in his last three years (and the craven networks would not accommodate Bush's last one (while we were at war).
How very disingenuous. Are we to believe Obama is not familiar with what actually happened? That he didn't read the officer's report. Officer James Crowley’s official arrest report Or is it another opportunity to scream racism and further divide Americans. This is exactly what I outlined here in my oped piece at WND.

Gates was wrong, but the cops should have walked away as well. It was believed the officer in charge was reprimanded as the cop under him. They are trained to walk away in instances like this said the officer.
Both sides shared some blame. However, Obama was quick to play the race card and sided with Gates..."progressive" racism rears it's ugly head.This could pull down his poll numbers even more.
It's not too long, and it's well worth the read, believe me. It left me with the impression that there is more to the story, and I think it has to do with the other guy who was with Gates. Perhaps the guy was Gate's "down low" lover or his drug dealer, or both.
In any event, the cop says he will not apologize. Good for him. He has nothing to aplogize for.
By the way, is there a more useless human being on the planet than a "professor of African-American studies"?
Yes, there is — an Assistant Professor of African-American Studies.

No they shouldn't have, at least not until Gates provided his ID. He finally did and it could have ended there, but the scumbag proceeded to follow the officer outside and slur him in plain view and earshot of the gathering crowd. The cop would have looked guilty of racism (as well as like a pansy) if he just walked away from the scumbag and it would have sent the message to the crowd that you can slur a cop on duty anytime you feel like it.
The cop was left with no choice but to arrest the scumbag, IMO.

Obama using this situation to take pressure off his failure to unit the Democrats on health care etc in the eyes of the people is more the story. As we were not there, we never know all unbiased so it will sort itself out. We know the facts as they are media-ized or police report that can always be scrutinized legally.
Now how the Police union takes this attack on their members in what Obama said about this officer who refuses
to beg for forgiveness as Cambride Police
Stupidity..and the parading of Gate’s daughter on tv before she “saw” and heard the whole story will all become very interesting.
Cambridge police do not harass as much as “do you know who I am” elitists harrass those that they are to serve them and also protect.
The officers could have made an inspection of Gates’ rental unit to see if everything was ok; which they failed to do but was entitled to do, as if a person acts in the manner Gates acted. He could have been in danger from his irrational demeanor or even hiding something. However they spared Gates that scenario.
When the “front porch”
remark about “Yo Momma” (who’s being racist here when that is not the Harvard language that is spoken) was made to the officer..now people have gathered and Gates made a spectacle of himself pure and simple. We are in an upscale neighborhood not some ghetto.
Being a friend of Obama’s helps his documentary on racism..People are not stupid but the President made himself stupid when he remarked to the effect “maybe some words where said I don’t know”...you think Mr. President that’s the important part of the story???? Let’s see how the Police union handles that remark..Poll will drop as long as our sitting leader plays King of the Jungle....
