And Newsweek is right there trying to pitch the dirt back in again -- it's sickening to read the comments following the article. All these dewey-eyed suckers and saps, so impressed with Romney. "He should be our next president! He's so logical!" "He's a businessman and an executive!" Yeah, so are Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, Michael Eisner, and Richard Branson, four of the biggest Nanny Government Liberals around. Listen, people, business executives are the last types we want in political power, because they consider you and me, we American citizen taxpayers and laborers, the equivalent of employees. They succeed in private enterprise because they can manage personnel and dictate to employees what and what not to do. But American government is not a business and we are not personnel to be managed.
I'll bet that just about 100 percent of Republicans and conservatives are saying, "Slow down on health care!" But the MSM chooses to highlight Romney saying it, so gullible, short-thinking folks assume that he's the only one saying it, and give him big kudos.
There was a time when I'd have been a lot more impressed if Romney was saying, "Look, it's clear that the Federal government should have ZERO role in private health care concerns of private citizens, employers, and employees." Now if he said those very words, I wouldn't be impressed because I know that Romney will speak any platitude, make any promise, don any mask, to make people think well of him. I don't trust him any more than I trust Obama.
It's pretty telling that Newsweek is so eager to give Romney such a fluff PR write-up.
Thats why I posted this headline I am concerned by this article and also the healthcare history in MASS
