I wonder if Michael Jackson is still dead?

That would be to good to be true. I would sorely miss that sorry POS. I can think of a better way to be rid of him but it is illegal.

Can’t wait for the next GOP White House.

If for no other reason just so we can try out that new Federal Policy of investigating and jailing your previous political opponents.

For an Administration that lives in the proverbial “Glass House” this team has certainly hurled some massive stones.

Just think of the transgressions of the Constitution that MAY have already been demonstrated - Nationalization of Auto Industry, Czars that direct a shadow Gov’t without oversight, this issue, and the lack of a verified Birth Certificate.

Now that 0bama is making this the norm, they had all better be having their homes built in Venezuela/Cuba or be selecting their cell model of choice.

Assuming there is actually an 'election'.

If for no other reason just so we can try out that new Federal Policy of investigating and jailing your previous political opponents

Which is exactly why we may not have a Presidential election.

Your point is right on.

My concern is that they realize any green/inexperienced lawyer could drive a Mac Truck right thru their defense as their actions have already been so egregious.

Knowing that - it would seem that the only reason they would do something so easy to prosecute is that they don’t plan to NOT be in control for one hell of a LONG time (actually Carville said they plan to RULE for 40 years).

The fly in that ointment for them is that the framers of this country were fairly shrewd people and have checks and balances built into our Government.

Congress CAN impeach the President and the next election is in 1 year.

I’m betting that there is NO way he can stop THAT election because after that one is finished the WILL be a complete flushing of the Democrats and I believe the GOP will hold the House AND Senate.

I think this not because I have some great faith in the GOP, but because of the outrageous exhibition of the naked pursuit of a totalitarian grasp of POWER from King 0bama’s Administration over the freedoms of the American People.

We have Obama’s “Walpingate” and “Certifigate” (for no birth certificate to prove natural born citizenship). 6 months into his term and Obama is already exceeding, Andrew Jackson, Nixon and Clinton put together.

-- From various articles the suit was filed this past Fri. late. --

I speculated that to be the case, on account of it not showing up on PACER.

Mr. Walpin's lawsuit, filed in U.S. District court for the District of Columbia, alleges that his firing was "unlawful," politically driven," "procedurally defective" and "a transparent and clumsily-conducted effort t circumvent the protections" given to inspectors general under the Inspectors General Reform Act of 2008. ...

According to the Washington Examiner, Walpin has not asked for damages, other than payment of his attorney fees. He wants the Court to declare that his firing was unlawful and he wants to be re-instated to his previous position of Inspector General.

Here is an outtake from and link to Byron York's article:

"In the haste to remove Mr. Walpin from his post, not only were there ... failures to comply with the statutorily-mandated procedures to preserve the integrity of the Inspector General post from politically motivated job actions," the suit says, "no investigation was made into the facts alleged as the basis for Mr. Walpin's termination. In particular, there was no attempt to interview Mr. Walpin or ay members of the staff of the Office of Inspector General who were personally involved in each of the [investigations], nor any of the board members."

I wish the court filings were available. I hate reading the media’s interpretation of the documents without seeing them myself. :-(

The case is neither about ageism or breaking federal law, it's about an endemic, corrupt disregard for the law.

The fact that this mayor is not particularly dear to Obama is a clear indicator that 0bama's willingness to subvert the law is not merely held close-to-the-vest for easily obscured situations, but it's an in-your-face manifestation of "Yes we can!"

I have only half-jokingly suggested that we give liberals their own country; every state east of the Mississippi and north of the Mason-Dixon line; call it the Democratic Peoples Republic of Amerika and wall it off with concertina and land mines.

I was afraid they were dropping the ball on this story...

I’m happy to see Mr. Walpin taking action, and they took
their time because they needed to think everything through, and I’m sure they are reading all the words on the documentation they are filing ....

Slow and steady wins the race ....

I agree. I would be ecstatic if CA would leave the union and form it’s own country. At this point, I honestly believe that the US would be better off if CA was its own sovereign state.

AS NUTS AS THIS SOUNDS, in the end this is what we will have needed to do anyway with no violence.

As bitter as the cultural warfare that 0bama incites of right vs. left is in this country. I think that the United States should be divided. Let the democratic communist progressive liberals move to CA. Take all the NE liberal states and they can destroy themselves and go broke.0bama can be there President. And take the liberal democrats with them.

Mr. Walpin probably has better command of his facilities than the stooge the MSM put up against the chosen one in November.

You go Mr. Walpin!!!!! Sue those bastards for Ageism and uncover the real motives behind your firing.
