Rodale credits the RunnersWorld.com Web site for much of this success, as the site has become a key source for print sales. Online is now responsible for driving a huge percentage of subscriptions sales, says Chris Lambiase, Runners World Media Group VP. The recent exclusive feature on Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin helped the Web site break traffic records, with 5.49 million page views and 526,748 unique visitors during the week of June 30-July 5. The photo gallery of Palin alone was responsible for 1.12 million page views.
