I’d rather listen to 2 minute song by The Ramones than a 20 minute self-indulgent by one of those early to mid 70’s artsy fartsy bands . Won’t mention any names . My flame suit it at the cleaners .

Mick Jagger, screaming into the mike, isn’t my definition of talent.

He isn't mine either. He's only "talented" by comparison with the cotton-candy mind-fluff of the Beatles.

But you're right about The Who.

The decline of music started Jethro and Homer.

"Music is a good bellweather for the condition of a culture."

As my dad used to say, "Music is a reflection of how people feel -- some of them must feel awful!"

The Obamas have a lot to answer for, but I think that was Larry King...

The fluff of the previous generation is always better than the fluff of the current generation!

He was actually commenting on soul music. That was long before rap lowered the standards.

I cannot agree with you more. Whether a lyric is good often depends on one’s perspective. Of course, there are narrow-minded people who generally just do not like what they don't understand.

Don’t forget, murron, that Sinatra often drank to excess.

"I've got chunks of guys like you...IN MY STOOL!"

Being born in 69? you have no way of relating to the 60’s and the lasting impression that era had on the country being it music or whatever . They were the best times of wife’s and my life ( except for present retirement which is a hoot to get paid for doing absolutely nothing )
You were a “disco” baby and that was a dark spot in the history of rock and roll .

What’s that have to do with anything? Let’s review you said “If any distractors to the Beatles haven’t seen the Beatles “ Love “ Cirque du Soleil in Vegas , they should STFU!” And I asked why anybody that doesn’t like the Beatles would bother to watch the Cirque Beatles show. And so far you’ve thrown a lot of insults and not even bothered to try to answer the question.

I can live with you being the kind of rude annoying person that says dumb things and thinks insults and non-sequitors are an answer to a simple question. Just means you’re a complete waste of time. Bye.
