It certainly wasn’t a victory for her case, kicking the can further down the road as it did. It certainly wasn’t a victory for her client, either.
Admittedly the title was namecalling to draw hits, more than anything. My message was more to push that there are bigger issues at hand than this that we should be focusing on.
Will it be incredibly important if someone proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is in fact not a citizen? Of course, but that’s a HUGE if at this point.
And come on. The military pulling a guy back from Afghanistan to forego a lawsuit means that Obama MUST be an alien? Let’s come back to Earth just a tad.
I did not intend to provide evidence that he IS a citizen. I intended to try to say we should put our minds and our hearts into things that might actually have a useful effect at this point.
But, here we all sit, running around trying to "prove" a negative. Why would Obama authorize the release of his birth certificate, when it's absence is providing such a useful distraction, and so much comic relief for the people who want him to succeed?
If it is indeed fact that he was born a British subject, that fact alone would “prove the negative”, i.e. that he is not a natural born citizen.
No proof was or is required, it’s a matter of record and admitted by the candidate, now President.
Any links available?
I will refer you to The British Nationality Act Of 1948, or if you prefer, have at it with any one of the 67,900 hits for obama+”british citizen” on Google:

Post 45 is correct accept, I don’t remember Eternal Vigilance writing for Defend Our Freedoms or Dr.Orly’s Blogspot.
I don't know what you mean by us. She isn't registered to vote. Therefore, she isn't registered with any party. I don't think that qualifies as an us or a them. Just political gypsies.
Is it really that simple?
His father was Kenyan and therefore he’s a British subject?
What is the counterclaim, or rather on what basis are people denying this?
Very well. Thank you for validating the portion of my reply that dealt with your unfortunate experience, Calpernia.
No one can deny what is a matter of not just public record, but of British law.
What is being denied is that a British subject cannot be a natural born citizen of the United States.
"Us," in the sense of those who are seeking to establish Barack Obama's eligibility for the office of President.
If you've disassociated yourself, washed your hands of the entire thing, I can't say I blame you. But, if you still want to get to the bottom of this, then, yes, she's still making you look nutty by association. And, me, too.
When you said us, I thought you meant a political party or a conservative issue.
No I didn’t wash my hands. I am deeply involved.
