2 Goals the Dems Hope to Reach by Falsely Accusing Cheney

By falsely accusing Cheney of withholding information from Congress and instructing CIA to withhold this information, the Democrats hope to reach 2 significant goals at a highly crucial time. This article examines the ulterior motives of Obama and the Democrats and blows the lid on their 'red herring.'

I figure there is basically one goal and that is to shut Cheney up.

Bambi knows it is bad politics to go after the previous administration. But, they want Cheney to shut his trap.

Thus, he ochestrates a show of “this is what will happen if I let the true wing-nuts loose Cheney-boy” show.

Cheney is supposed to get the message and Bambi continues with his current acquistion of power to the executive(aided of course by the policies of the previous administration I might add).

Cheney may have to be more careful because of the legal implications, but I doubt this will stop him from criticizing Obama.

I think the folks in the White House knew that they weren't drawing cover from Michael Jackson anymore and they continue to watch Obama’s numbers plummet ~ or his disapproval rating spike, whatever ~ they need to manufacture something that will suck up a little oxygen in the media.

I don't think they're getting another news cycle out of this bit.

My bet is that all this business of playing the President of the United States is getting a little tiring to Barry.

Democrats must be really really stupid. George Bush did not go after Dems because of his personality and his cluster of not so smart advisors. Cheney will not roll over and take this crap. PLUS the Dems are going after the CIA! The CIA was tasked with KILLING our ENEMIES!
This is a lose - lose situation for Pelosi and her Marxist friends in congress.

The author is basically correct. But I think it his second reason that is actually primary (because I've been making the same argument for several weeks):

Second, attempting to conjure up a scandal of some sort revolving around Cheney and the CIA is the perfect distraction for a beleaguered White House. As we reported last week, Obama's poll numbers plummeted 8 points in one week. His net approval rating is -8, when the percentage of those who 'strongly disapprove' of Obama are subtracted from the percentage of those who 'strongly approve.'

Watch the Rasmussen polls. Unless they begin to move upward rather than sharply down we are going to see more and more of this sort thing. Obama is still running against Bush-Cheney and wants to convince the public that all of his problems are "inherited". Fortunately the American public is not buying it.

They want NO REPUBLICANS to get into POLITICS! The Dems want to show pubbies that they can be RUINED....DESTROYED by LEGAL BILLS if they have the AUDACITY to run!

The last time they took on Cheney, he told them to “put up ALL the memos or shut up”. They are not messing with a Joe the Plumber, here(no offense to Joe, just the way the media treated him). If they want to run Dick Cheney through the meat grinder, they better be prepared because he’ll make them look like bigger fools than they are.
