I contacted Mary to request the stats on Cap & Take. Specifically, I requested that she provide the total number of calls, emails, faxes and letters from constituents regarding the bill. I further asked for a break down of percentages of yays and nays. Here is Bono Mack’s non response:

MBM can barely figure out a ballpoint pen. She had no hope of logically analyzing the Crap & Trade bill.

Further down the page, her explanation of her Yea vote on Crap & Trade is the same letter, modified so it doesn’t look too much like it’s been copied word for word from a master Talking Points memo, that many of the Yea voting House members sent out to their questioning constituents.

I agree..vote her GONE!! Mary Bono Mack represents Southern California, Palm Springs area in Riverside County. It is comprised of a lot of retired people, a lot with whatever money they might have had, and/ many wantabees with little or none. MBM has always shown Conservative values...but of late, with question. She almost was outed in the last election, but given California’s no money reputation today, this may be a better answer to her stupid statement of “I didn’t know!!!” Of course she knew..she wants the power and the job. She should be dumped with no more on the ball than that.

Not knowing what your constituents want, has its own REWARD, at election time.

She needs to unplug from DC, and plug back in at home.

Mary Bono Mack: “I Don’t Know What My Constituents Wanted”

Like a lot of other liberals-turned-Republicans - too bad you don’t have any guiding principles or moral values of your own to draw upon, ya dummy! Go over to the Demo-Commies Bono-head!

Her telephone and e-mails were overwhelmingly against her yes vote.

Yet, she cast what turned out to be the winning vote for another disastrous element of the Obama Nation

The area that she reps where I live is poor rural farm, and high desert.....the money is in the Palm Springs area and much more liberal than the high desert / farming community.

Everywhere I go, including parties, the consensus is “vote all incumbents out.” That is the chorus of RATs and Republicans. The mood is not good and rage is coming. The arrogance of Congress and Zero won’t let that reality sink in.

She doesn’t know what they want? Does she think they want skyrocketing utility bills and transportation costs, more expensive food, and other increases in the cost of living and making a living in this country? How’s about having some principles, being able to defend them and then sticking with them when you have to make decisions? She is apparently being advised and staffed by idiots who have their fingers up to the wind, and is listening to them.

I feel bad for Mary but she is out of her league. I’d respect her more if she just told us the reason why she voted for the bill no matter how hackneyed. Leaders should be able to articulate their reasons for votes.

But Republican primary voters nearly always stick with incumbents who have name ID. That way don’t have to take the time to do candidate research.
