When I first heard Paul Krugman make the suggestion that we needed a second stimulus, I thought that I was only listening to a looney liberal pundit. Never in my widest dream did I think that significant Democratic politicians would suggest that we may need a second stimulus. Such suggestions are nothing short of a beautiful political gift to the Republicans.

Didn’t we have two stimulus bills under Bush? If my memory is correct Obama’s would have been the third stimulus and another one would be #4. Am I wrong here?
The problem with the first stimulus is that it wasn’t a stimulus. It was mostly a pork-filled expansion of government with little timely stimulative economic impact. Why would a second stimulus be any more efficient at delivering a jolt to the economy?
These people don't have the first clue on what to do. They could listen to the conservative economist but they will not.
All these threats of a stimulus do is cause employers to postpone projects (and hiring) until they know when the next stimulus will happen.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see this.
How can we have a 2nd one while the original one hasn't taken effect? Sounds like we need Paul Krugman (Idiot - New York Times), to explain it to us.
