What a washed up, sick little pantload this Mellencamp is. I’m sure the little pantload never had any problem with his own kind referring to Bush as Hitler.
Wow. And I thought Socrates was a brilliant thinker.
John! John! Shut up and sing. You’re good at that. Stick with it. Political pontificating ain’t your strong suit.
It’s time to take back the country.
Hey Doofus!
J.C.M......Have you checked out D.U. lately?
Note: It is NOT “mean” to;
Criticize the attempt to mainstream men bf’ing men,
Criticize the destruction of capitalism in an attempt to bring socialism to America,
Criticize a nationalized “healthcare” system that would only ration healthcare in the pretense that it’s a “right”, and that those who’ve EARNED IT AS A BENEFIT are somehow defrauding the less fortunate.
Grow up and look at the whiners for what they are!
There Mr. Cougar Mellencamp, I fixed it for you.
Hmmm maybe he can sing a song about how mean bloggers stink. I like some of his music but I don’t like him. He must be good friends with Springsteen.
I quit playing that song on my guitar (in bands) because of his idiocy...
I don't blame him seeing as how his real name is Johnny Cougar.
Little pink collectives for you and me, eh Mellonhead?
Has that boy figured out his name yet?
So let me get this straight... Americans haven’t fought and died so people can say whatever they want, but they did die so that you could sell records and scold Americans that they’re being mean? Does Mr. Cougar have a collective behind him, urging him to utter such drivel? If so, they picked a cracker jack spokesman.
I agree with one of the previous posters... he apparently wishes to be one of the Borg. John Locutus Mellencamp, maybe? :D
That's your problem, little johnny cougar popstar fame seeker.
Our Founding Fathers gave us the freedom to say what is NOT popular, what others do NOT want us to hear, and to say that which WILL offend others, and to say it with all the PASSION in our hearts.
“Freedom of speech” to say what others approve or in a “nice” manner is NOT freedom of speech. It is a form of thought slavery.
What they did NOT do was give you and other totalitarian leftist aholes the right to define “passion” as “hate” and then criminalize and censor it.
You washed-out, has-been jackass.
Another F’idiot who associates fame and fortune with intelligence and wisdom.
I wonder, was he sitting in his bedroom when he wrote that?
Wow, meanness should be outlawed now.
What are the limits on “Freedom of Speech”?
It doesn’t just apply to someone speaking - it also applies to writing, songs, films, even slogans on T-shirts.
But where should the limits be? I think there should be some, but every limit should be considered guilty until proven innocent.
Example of speech I have no problem with:
“Zoe Brain is a right-wing ratbag who should be put up against the wall and shot”.
I disagree of course, but that’s irrelevant.
Example of speech I have severe problems with:
“Zoe Brain lives at 12 Nonsuch street, and has to walk down Erewhon lane between 6pm and 7pm to get home. It’s dark and out of public view. A group of us are going to teach her a lesson there on Thursday. Bring your knives, blowtorches and baseball bats.”
Example of speech I have problems with, but may have to be permitted:
“Zoe Brain lives at 12 Nonsuch street, and has to walk down Erewhon lane between 6pm and 7pm to get home. It’s dark and out of public view. It would be a shame if anyone was to attack her there, wouldn’t it?”
There may also be limits based on obscenity, and factual inaccuracy.
Well, from that I’d say that he’s been hanging out with other loser lefties. You need to expand your horizons Mellonhead...
Ok John....how bout this....STFU, please!
One of the reasons why I dislike him & his music-esp. his music!
His stupid commercial was another nail in the coffin for GM.
