Meridith was 1 of only 2 people to Star in 4 TZ episodes - the other being Jack Klugman. I had noticed before that these two men appeared in several epsisodes but it wasn't until this weekend (during the Sci Fi Channel's TZ Marathon), that I investigated further on Wikipedia and confirmed the above factoid.

Ironically, in another memorable Merideth episode, can't remember the name, but he played a bookworm bank teller that survives a nuckear holocaust, but ... well don't want to spoil the ending. Anyway, the man who played his bankmanager appeared in 5 TZ epsiodes but did not star in any of them.

When I saw the thread’s title, I thought of the episode where Richard Deacon was replacing all the workers with robots and then one day he himself was replaced with a robot.

I loved that episode, might be my favorite. Can't remember the name either. Will always remember the ending, not to worry will not give it away.
