Barney Frank, our very own congressional Madoff.

It brings to mind the old bumpersticker: Don't Steal, the Government Hates Competition !

I think this is a GREAT idea, Barney Frank. You ought to be commended if you give your money personally to help the homeless? But were you ever legally, constiutionally appointed to give ‘my’ money as well to the homeless? Don’t think so. The early fathers of America thought it would be good for Americans to respond to those in distress, but Congress was not authorized to rob for us, to give to ‘them’...please.

My thoughts on this would get me kicked off FR should I print them here...

For that matter, I'd probably get a visit by some faceless government security goon as well.

“prevent foreclosures on borrowers who don’t qualify for other mortgage aid programs because they are unemployed. The funds would come in the form of loans, and borrowers would have to pledge their homes as security.”

This might be one of the more cost effective things that the government has done; with all the wasteful stimulus spending.

At least the funds would be expected to be paid back. A lien on the home would force that to be done.

“assistance is temporary.’’

Sure...just like the “temporary” assistance given to Katrina victims in N.O., who are still living free off the U.S. taxpayer in hotels in LA and TX five years after the storm. Every time a deadline has come to end the program, the race pimps howl, and it is extended for another year.

OK, now. Repeat after me: If Barney Frank likes the idea, it’s bad for America!

Barney, you are a meathead.

Tell us what he hasn't "learned"? He's still in office. He's the head of the Banking Committee. He's revered by millions. The MSM thinks he's a genius and treats him as such.

What, exactly, hasn't he learned? I hate him and wish he would go away in any way possible but there he is - almost at the top.

Or the Government could simply end up the onwer of thousands of over valued homes...
