Well, to do that, the GOP has to have a plan to restore the economy. They don’t. The worst thing about the GOP right now is that they show no understanding, no comprehension of what is wrong in our economy.

All the GOP keeps offering is “tax cuts.” Well, in a debt deflation such as we’re in now, tax cuts are only one piece of several policy possible responses from DC. They’re wholly insufficient for the size and scope of the problem we now face.

The GOP better start worrying about one thing and only one thing going forward: employment. That’s what the 2012 race will turn on — who has the mot credible idea to increase employment (first) and average wages second?

My wish list for the GOP Platform in 2010 and 2012:

Repeal the 16th Amendment. Abolish income tax and IRS. FAIR Tax. (FAIR Tax should replace not only the income tax, but all other federal taxes.)

Repeal 17th Amendment.

Hard money: Recall clad coins (slugs). Gold and Silver coins in circulation. All coins with LIBERTY on them, not Presidents. Paper currency should also have LIBERTY on them, not Presidents.

Abolish Department of Edumacation first. Then start abolishing departments and agencies, newest ones first.

Defund the Left. With the IRS and income tax gone, the churches would be liberated, and the playing field between charities, Left-wing advocacy groups, Right-wing advocacy groups, etc., would be leveled.

Certify Obama as ineligible to office of the Presidency; nullify every act of Obama’s—EOs, signatures on legislation, etc.
