Blogging from Phoenix— Attacks orchestrated by establishment republicans more than anything else are at the center of Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin’s decision to step down from office. Since the November loss, beltway republicans who still control the vast party infrastructure; have spent untold amounts attempting to discredit the popular former vice presidential candidate.

When it ultimately comes out that she resigned for precisely he reasons she stated, all these blabbering bulls***ers won’t issue mea culpa #1.

Seriously, the potential of a massive disinformation campaign around SP designed to drive the Dems nuts is truly too good an oppty to pass up.

The GOP establishment was using the very campaign and ethic reform laws she helped to establish in Alaska, to prevent her from benefiting from the sea of cash she was raising for the party.

Ummm...nope, the Dems filed the ethics complaints. This guy is trying to absolve the Dems by deflecting the blame onto the GOP, typical Dem tactic. What a hack.

Democrat perspective on anything means it’s uninformed speculation. The Left is totally obsessed with this story for some reason. They cannot accept that someone might rather have a normal life than subject themselves to the US media.

It may turn out to be true, but I sure have a hard time believing this kind of conjecture, when written by someone who has so little knowledge of correct punctuation. Who puts a semicolon in the middle of a sentence?

Yea, right. Maureen Dowd, Dee Dee Meyer's husband(who wrote the Vanity Fair hit piece) and all the MSM always do whatever the Republican Party tells them to do. This is utter nonsense. The Republican establishment did not came to Sarah Palin’s defense as much as it should but the attacks on her are part of a “politics of personal destruction” campaign by the Democrats and their propaganda agents in the MSM.

Wow, that was utterly uninsightful and useless.

Some dweeb's poorly-constructed opinion on the television show he's watching.

At least I didn't pay to read it.

So true, it’s amazing, and disheartening, how readily many on this forum respond to the MSM’s propaganda as if it were truthful and accurate.

I’m sure there are a lot of establishment Republicans that don’t like her, but this does seem like an attempt to sow confusion in the enemy camp. Amazing how nobody wants to accept her reasons at face value. I guess because most politician are liars, Palin must be also.
