Seems to me that anybody with enought wits about them to utilize such technology successfully is sufficiently sober to safely operate a motor vehicle. That leaves the threat to "revenue enhancement" as the chief reason to oppose this application.

That was my first thought, I’ve seen those drunks on Cops and they can’t even recite the alphabet.

No...law enforcement is designed to ENFORCE LAWS!
...that’s whay it’s called LAW ENFORCEMENT!
