God is not a member of any political party or a citizen of any country. Despite what people may think, God is not an American. God does hate sin wherever it is found, but he also works through sinful human beings and nations. People are called upon to be faithful, not successful (from the world’s point of view). It is impossible to determine the invisible from the visible, that is God’s will by appearances. A Christian lives by faith, not by sight. God’s will will be done with or without us.
Wise words. I agree completely. I know God does not "hate" as we conceive it. I'm just asking a rhetorical question. I am tired of politicians invoking God just to reel in the believers. That too is taking his name in vain.
