I read somewhere today that the capacity of the pavilion is 900 and there is a "long waiting list".From www.reaganlibrary.com:
The following number of event attendees can be accommodated inside the Air Force One Pavilion:There also appear to be three OTHER large meeting areas at the Reagan Library, that could each potentially hold about one thousand people -- the Courtyard, the Peace Plaza and the Ruwe Terrace -- in their "reception" configurations.
Theater Seating: 1,500
Dinner Seating: 1,400
Reception 1,600
But that's about it. Even assuming that they are not already rented out to someone else, they are NOT big enough, IMHO.
So, if all of the people who WANT to come are unable to make it to the Gala Dinner -- perhaps we can find ANOTHER venue, ideally somewhere close to the Reagan Library -- to support Governor Palin EARLIER in the day...
