It certainly is hotter than Michael Jackson, at this point. No pun intended.
The latest hate-rumor of a “scandal” was proven to be a lie, just as all the other MSM fabricated “scandals”.
The first inside the beltway pundant to make any sense out of this.
I can only hope her reason is to open up a nationwide can of whoop-ass on our Usurper-in-chief.
Let my mind wander...
Rush was in super-secret meetings with Levin and the questions arises is Palin involved...
Rush is good friends with Mary, so does she have the inside skinny?
The article said — Here is video of Republican strategist Mary Matalin saying she believes Gov. Sarah Palin’s resignation announcement is a “brilliant” move that will rally many supporters around the nation in her defense.
—
Well, of course, I would tend to believe Mary Matalin and accept her judgment, before I would believe her husband, James Carville, or his judgment.
Of course, the one chink in her armor as a GOP analyst, is her judgment in marrying Carville in the first place... LOL...
Sarah is like Obie Wan Kenobe in the first Star Wars movie. She just became much more powerful!
All this political “claptrap” from the bobbleheads in the state run “media” is irrelevant. The candidate with the most money and largest number of followers in 2012 will become the next president. “Quitting midterm” and all that other BS doesn’t mean a thing. This is the Neu Pay to Play Amerika! The people with the most money get to “lead.”
Palin needs to travel, read and become authoritative on all matters foreign and domestic. If she is perceived as a lightweight in 2012 as she was in 2008, she hasn’t got a chance of winning.
Is that after taking a measurement on the “Carville Cuss-o-meter”?
How smart can Mary Matalin be being married to Serpent-head?
< /sarcasm>
Sarah’g got nothing to worry about from the ‘Rats - is the elitist snob Republicans she better be on the look-out for.
The more I think about this, the more it all seems to make sense. I believe Sarah knows the decision to resign may require her to shelve any presidential ambitions for at least until 2012, but for a greater, more immediate good.
What I think is at work here is a grander, more strategic plan — one that lays aside her own ambitions in order to support and fundraise for conservative candidates, starting with the two gubernatorial elections this year. She realizes, as most here on FR do, that our very existence as a nation hangs in the balance, as we’re currently under the most radically left-wing administration ever. She will be a great asset on the campaign circuit, turning out the crowds and bringing badly needed dollars into the campaign war chests of Gubernatorial, Congressional and Senatorial candidates we need to emerge victorious in order to put the brakes on the 0bama agenda. As for Alaska, I am quite sure she wouldn’t be stepping aside if she had any misgivings about whether the state was in good hands with Sean Parnell. All indications are Parnell will be a fine Governor and it’ll be a seamless transition, so accusations of “abandoning” Alaska ring hollow.
I was feeling pretty much in the dumps over the past few days ever since Sarah announced her resignation. It’s becoming more evident she sees the urgency of jumping in now to help the conservative cause, and with mid-terms only 15 montns.
We’ve needed a leader of the conservative movement and how we have her in a big way; the fact Sarah Palin is willing to sacrifice her personal political future for the cause of promoting conservatism in this critical time makes me appreciate her even more. God bless her.
It must be said that she has gotten an amazing amount of press. Friday afternoon is supposed to be a dead news time. Clinton used to use that time slot to release embarrassing stuff he wanted buried.
And before a holiday weekend, to boot. And with Michael Jackson dominating the news—up to the very last minute before her speech.
In fact Drudge, who has been very fair to her, vacillated between Sarah and Michael, as to which would be better to headline in order to draw more viewers. He naturally wants to keep increasing his hits. Sarah won that one, too.
