Here is a video report on former President George W. Bush's speech yesterday in Woodward, Oklahoma, where he received a warm welcome on the 4th of July. Bush showed a good sense of humor with some jokes during his speech. . . . . (Watch Video)

Bush always showed a good sense of humor. Obama just looks like a dufus when trying to be funny and I don’t the Obama is cool crap. He looks like a dork trying to act cool with a stick up his butt.
This posting will be golden opportunity for expressions of Bush hatred to flourish.
I posit THIS...
The people of Woodward Ok aren’t stupid. They know the man made some mistakes in his Presidency and they undoubtedly have different views on border policy, etc.
The reason they welcome him is they know he was good on some things Obama is horrible on (WOT, tax cuts, judges, pro-life etc) and that he’s a decent human being who held the highest office and treated the office with respect, which they in turn accord him.
Although Texan to the core, I graduated from college in Oklahoma and know many Okies. Good people with a sense of decency and respect in how they conduct themselves.
We could use plenty more of that in every walk of life.
Video highlights from President Bush’s July 4 speech!
Thanks for the ping. I will check it out later
Thanks for the post and link to the video. I have many friends in Woodward, and lived near OKC for 7 years.
I assume that the Channel 9 Logo is from OKC’s channel 9 (KWTV).
The only bad thing about the video was a mention of two men demonstrating at the event because their son’s were killed in Iraq. I understand a father’s grief for the loss of a son in war. But unlike some wars we have had in the past, this war is fought with a total volunteer military.
According to the tabloids they were hellbent for divorce court.
You mean that isn’t true???
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..........
Thank You for the pings!
Speaking of the (damn I hate to say this “f” word) former President, today is his 63rd birthday.
Happy birthday Mr. President!
