I was in country when Saddam was caught and had just left right before his execution - and I can say I felt very embarrassed...because he died and we gave him over to a party no better than he was - the Shi’ites / Mahdi Milita...they are going to destroy that area after we pull out - look at Basra in 2006-2007 and what they did - I was north of that area and saw the absolute chaos that spewed forth from the Shia.
Saddam was a Sunni that knew what would occur if the Shia ever gained power - and Iraq is the first country to have a Shi’ite Arab dominated power controlling resources and a security force - again - if Biden thought Saddam was bad - just stand by - I watched the Shia go into Sunni parts of villages and town and slaughter whole families just south of Baghdad - anyone who has served in that area knows this to be true - they are all animals!
