How accurate is the HBO series — JOHN ADAMS ? Paul Giamatti was absolutely fabulous.

Read the same thing. I think it was only three that signed the DofI. Others signed it afterwards and took up to several weeks. The next year they forgot to Celebrate Independence day on the second, therefore it was the third of July so it was planned to celebrate it the next day on the 4th.

2nd or 4th it does not matter, the important thing is the Nation is free (although under assault). The barbarians are within the gates, and it will be seen how we deal with them.
