Meghan Daum of the L.A. Times has had an epiphany. The story of adulterous South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford is still in the news, she's decided, because America's men see themselves reflected in him. Yes, Daum apparently feels that all men are adulterers, so they sympathize with him causing the story to keep bumping along.
Daum spies some "gasp--empathy" for the governor in various corners of the Old Media and this, she has decided, must mean that there is a "tiny bit of Mark Sanford" in men across the country. One wonders if Daum spied this same lecherous "sympathy" abounding among Democrats when a certain president was wagging his finger in our faces and saying he "did not have sexual relations with that woman, Monica"?
Betcha she didn't. As a matter of fact, I'll bet no such thing crossed her mind as the Clinton's Monica-gate raged on and on.
Check out this baseless rumination...

The gay community is very quiet about child rape. The folks in the gay "chat rooms" knew about the child being molested for "perv dad's" fun and entertainment and NOT ONE OF THEM HELPED THE CHILD.
Gays and the liberal Establishment are the new thugs
Oh and the CIVIL RIGHTS GUYS are all AWOL - singing the praises of the KING OF PEDOPHILES - Michael el creepo Jackson... Too busy to care about a Black Child being sold on the internet for white men to rape.
she’s a twit.
she was on bill o’reilly but could not debate him equally.
instead, she said nothing and twisted back and forth in her seat.
Ridiculous. I have never flown thousands of miles to have sex with a woman who looked like the sister of Groucho Marx.
I’ve never been unfaithfull. Tempted yes but I controlled myself.
Even, SOMETHING else.
Shall I assume this Sanford thread won’t be bumped?
Doesn’t adultery require two people? If adultery is bad, what moral standard do we apply to the man’s partner?
and all women are sluts, what a wack job
I’m 49. I’ve had sex with two people in my life: my wife and myself.
I don’t understand adultery.
How true. If enough men think the way this writer supposes, then the nation will shortly fall. And the Godless liberals in the media, Hollywood and the perversion-oriented are addressed in this Biblical passage:
Titus 1:15 To the pure, all things are pure; but to those who are defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure, but both their mind and their conscience are defiled.
Titus 1:16 They profess to know God, but by their deeds they deny Him, being detestable and disobedient, and worthless for any good deed.
The MSN male bashing goes on and on. All men are bad and have bad intentions, and cannot be trusted.

Sin is equal opportunity, Meghan. More than 15% of babies born to MARRIED couples in the 1950’s were NOT the child of the husband.
The feminists will NEVER let go of their theories/ applying them to each and every scenario. What a long life it would be, to go through having to hate men.

If I was cursed with this woman, I, too, would commit adultery.
Look - these two deserve each other - and we, as a party are better off without this guy.
He's too unstable - too creepy - for my tastes. And yours. And most of us...
That said, do you think he's as bad Teddy Kennedy - a man who killed the woman he was boinking because he was afraid a drunk driving record might hurt his reelection chances?
Or a press all to willing to trash a young woman and her mother for Bill Clinton - and would have cheerfully stood with the liars rather than do a real investigation - if there hadn't been a blue dress?
Or Barney Frank - who's lover (?) was running a house of prostitution out of his basement - and our ever so "suck-up" press decided to believe him when he said he had no idea a whore house was in his basement.
And the latest "cover up" - a Duke official selling his young adopted black 5 year old "son" for "white adult men rape parties" and the "press" doesn't even question why no one in the gay chat rooms ever tried to protect the child.
So when I look at our love smitten idiot - I am stunned at the sheer number of stories. They wouldn't NOT have been written about a democrat. That's my anger - I don't need Sanford - but I'm outraged at the bias.
Nice to see the LA Times jump on this story. I'm sure their strong sense of morality is allowing them to look closely at the KING OF PEDOPHILES circus...

Daum is simply among the thousands of feminist nitwits who been hired on affirmative action grounds. Their whole life is writing about sexual politics. They’re obsessed by it, and they define themselves by the tons of feminist literature they’ve consumed since childhood. The only serious female writers are on the conservative side. Any female writer a majority of whose columns focus on men and the bad things they do to women, should never have been given a job. That’s practically every liberal female columnist.
