Businesses Hit Hard With Obamacare, Say Goodbye to Mom and Pop Stores

The most insidious part of Obamacare is the backdoor taxes, and defacto control of our healthcare by the nanny state that President Obama's plan is loaded with. And here is another one that is not getting much play. Employers would be socked with requirements to pay for 72.5 percent of the cost of insurance premiums for their full-time employees under the plan being considered in the House.

They would also be required to pick up an as yet undetermined percentage of the insurance plans for part-time employees, as well. This alone will insure that part-time jobs across the nation are terminated for the destructive cost involved in having them.

Or, conversely, many full-time jobs will be eliminated if the costs of insurance is so steep and that of part-timers less so. Either way, jobs will be lost because of these new, never before seen expenses...

Ok...enough of this. Let your voices be heard!!! I no longer am quiet when politics are brought up...we are losing our freedom and that is something that can NEVER be bought!

I REFUSE to let my freedoms go quietly in the night.

Amazing how you never hear those that voted for this anti-American radical socialist -— say nothing about his horrid and destructive policies.

Small businesses under a yet-to-be-determined threshold would be exempted from that “play or pay” requirement.

Look for small business owners to reduce the number of their employees drastically to avoid this health care fiasco.

and liberals will blame the “Captains of Business” for the job losses, calling it greed.

They already are.

Wal-Mart has joined the big boys that lean left because they have gotten their market share and think liberals will stifle competition

Small and not so small businesses are dropping like flies. Almost everywhere I go I see for rent signs, restaurants and stores that are empty. It seems to be getting worse.

Like the looters from AS, it never ceases to amaze me that the libs think businesses “will adapt and do whatever it takes to succeed, no matter what we do to them.” Clearly, they have never tried running a business themselves...

For those of you unfamiliar with Jim Quinn and his First Law of Liberalism....

Liberalism always generates the exact opposite of its stated intent.

After years of railing against WalMart for destroying mom-and-pops on Main Street, WalMart suddenly cuts a deal with him and now we get this.

“If Obamacare doesn’t get you, cap and trade will.”

I’m in Aviation...
If Cap-N-Tax passes, General Aviation is TOAST, an the US Airline Industry will be a shadow of it’s former self inside of 10 years...

I think Obama is the most anti=business President this country has ever had. Remember Michelle Obama’s speech extolling government jobs or rabble rousing jobs while diminishing the importance of private sector jobs. And I suspect Barack doesn’t take a leak without having permission from Michelle.

Personally, I think Tim Matheson’s line from “Animal House” works even better:

“Pre-med, pre-law...what’s the difference?”
