Sorry - but your out-of-context use of Luke 6:37 doesn’t help here.
The Bible is clear who is going to Hell and who is not - Anyone who does not repent and base their eternity on a true and complete faith in Jesus Christ, and Jesus Christ ALONE, will spend eternity in Hell and the Lake of Fire. Period.
No denomination will get you to Heaven, but true repentance and saving faith in Christ will.
If the recipient has never come to such a point in her life, thus having not repented of her sins (past, present, and future), and accepted Christ as her Savior, then she will go to Hell. Could that change between now and when she meets her end - certainly, and I pray that she does come to that point.
But one has to wonder if she had been a Christian only in action, but not in faith for her to be able to so easily give up “Christianity” and adopt Pagan/Eastern/Hindu cultic behavior.
Sorry, but I’m Atheist.
There is no such thing as heaven or hell. Religions are all cults.
How can it be out of context? This is from the King James version, and ‘The Message’ Bible:
Luke 6:37 (King James Version)
37Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:
Luke 6:37 (The Message)
37-38
“Don’t pick on people, jump on their failures, criticize their faults unless, of course, you want the same treatment. Don’t condemn those who are down; that hardness can boomerang. Be easy on people; you’ll find life a lot easier. Give away your life; you’ll find life given back, but not merely given backgiven back with bonus and blessing. Giving, not getting, is the way. Generosity begets generosity.”
