The horrid situation in Washington provides an OUTSTANDING opportunity for any PATRIOTIC, PRO-AMERICAN, PRO-CONSTITUTION, PRO-LAW, CONSERVATIVE, CAPITALIST Republican candidate....(duh!!)

The Marxists continue to be paranoid about Palin.

At this point she’s the only one worth considering if she runs. There may be others worth considering as we get closer to the election but for now she’s it.

OK. she's gorgeous. Sarah looked even better in the Runner's World photos. Grandmothers just don't look this good. Fine.

It won't be enough. If Sarah is going to run for president, we need less "Sarah Palin, Fashion Model," and more "Sarah Palin, Policy Wonk." Get Bolton back as her foreign policy advisor, get someone to bring her up to speed on economics, etc. Palin did not lose to lightweight Katie Couric because of a bad hair day. She lost because she was unprepared.

“Sarah Palin, Policy Wonk.” Get Bolton back as her foreign policy advisor”

Agreed. I think the world of her; but, if she has aspirations for higher office, now is the time to start formulating her vision for a future America and its place in the world so she can forcefully convey it starting next year. I think Bolton is an outstanding choice for foreign policy advisor — he’ll give invaluable guidance on issues in that arena. I believe Larry Kudlow would be an equally great choice as an economic advisor as well.

The Katie Couric/Charlie Gibson interviews were seen as disastrous because perception can indeed become a reality. Her media trainer(s) did not adequately prepare her for those interviews. That can’t ever happen again. Yes, we know they were edited poorly, but it wasn’t totally out of her control. Having a stronger grasp on the matters, such as the SCOTUS and foreign policy issues that tripped her up last time will help her avoid the pitfalls that come with being queried by an essentially hostile interviewer. I think she’s made some great strides since Couric/Gibson, but there’s room for additional improvement. Further, if subject matter knowledge trips her up in an interview, it’ll definitely present a problem in debates during the primaries. The last thing I’d want is someone like Romney “schooling” her on anything. She needs to be loaded for bear on all fronts.

Come next year, especially after the mid-term elections, attention will start to turn toward the Prez election in 2012. That will be her window of opportunity to make it all happen. She needs to be ready to answer as to how the nation will, under her leadership, be able to recover from the disaster that is the 0bama Administration. Among the plethora of issues our nation faces, I’d like to hear some clarification on her position re: immigration. IIRC, she sounded like she was in line with McCain’s position about “comprehensive reform” (that term, BTW, nearly makes me puke), but it’s understandable he was the boss at the time, and she was presenting a united position of the ticket. Now that the McCain element is removed, what does she want to accomplish re: the problem with illegals (would appreciate hearing from anyone who has heard anything she’s said lately on the subject)?

I have no doubt she’d be great President, should American voters give her the opportunity. Certainly, she’ll have my vote. Having served 28 years in our nation’s Air Force, I’d be proud to call her Commander-in-Chief, UNLIKE the usurping POS who occupies the White House at present.
